Would you prefer First person or Third person view when playing MMO?

If I play first person to long I tend to get a headache and slight nausea, a bit like travel sickness (games with a bobbing animation to go with walking in first person are unplayable for me as the headache/nausea comes up very fast). So easy choice for me.

I played the ESO games mostly in 1st person. The FOV is too low in ESO to do it without a custom resolution to increase the horizontal. I like both. 1st for questing if I can make it work and 3rd for everything else.

I find it impossible to play in first person. I did, back when I first started playing. But now it's just impossible. Third person gives you way more vision around you and it just feels way better when fighting.

Doesn't matter if people are playing the same way, dungeons would gut you immediately if you were dumb enough to run in first person

This is probably first or even only MMO I can remember where I liked playing 1st person. At least for questing, not PvP or group PvE

Used to third person from other rpgs and it what I use in eso - find first person a bit odd. Was playing Skyrim again recently and the first person on that just felt wrong.

I can look around in first person but if I move at all, immediate queesiness. Even in Skyrim, I only used first person when sneaking indoors. In Oblivion I started with first person but combat was better for me in third person.

In Morrowind and Skyrim I mostly played 1st person, but running 4-man dungeons and PvP I find it too limiting. So I'm almost always in 3rd person. You need to be able to see what is going on with your allies nearby-- especially to heal effectively.

Always preferred first person over third. I can work with third person but if given the option between the two first all day.

third person seems better when running dungeons to make sure you are out of the firing line.

I first person most of the time but find on my stamina warden the buffs are too blinding on my bow with hdr.

But I definitely prefer 3rd person, otherwise how would you see your awesome character. But I know what you're saying though. Depends on the game.

First person when exploring and for extra immersion. 3rd person for pve and pvp content.

1st person is mainly why i love ESO though.
