Do you use spell power cure on your healer?

    Nope to SPC...

I run Combat Physician and have completed all Vet content with it, and rather easily might I add...

Keep your HoT's up and that 8.1k Damage Shield will be Proc'ing every 6 seconds like clockwork...

Over the course of a minute, you can potentially completely negate 81,000 points of damage with Combat Physician...

    :)

So what? I suppose a dead dps does no dps but you could raise dps by 2-5% by just having this set on. You ought to have even heals to keep everyone up without a single ward every six seconds.

To the op, of course, I have it on my Temp, haven't had it off of him since I got the five piece like 2 years ago and on my warden, once he got to CP level, and the only time I take it off of my warden is to swap to tanking gear.

Oh sure, SPC would increase the DPS of everyone present, but survivability means more to me than just raw "kill, kill, kill" speed...

And yes, my heals are good enough without Combat Physician, but with it, my job of keeping everyone alive is even easier than ever...

    Its almost easy mode...

With Combat Physician + Replenishing Barrier, my group is shielded a lot...

Unless someone in the group does something stupid or is slow at reacting to a big attack, Mutagen and Rite of Retribution are the only heals I need to keep my group going strong...

Again, so what? So what if your team is warded all the time, you are aware that healers in ESO are more then just the team health bar watcher, you could be doing more then just making sure your team is not dieing but you are choosing not to, as has been explained oh so many times to you, it is starting to seem you are being obtuse for no reason.

I also would like to point out you could be wearing SPC and combat physician at the same time. Not sure why you couldn't.

Oh, I'm aware of the amount of utility a Healer can potentially bring to a group, but I'm old fashioned in my thoughts as pertains to Healing (and this has never failed me in any MMO I have ever played): the best "support" a Healer can provide to his group is to make them as close to unkillable as is possible...

So yes, I could wear a different set and add more utility (like SPC), but IMHO, the better option is to increase survivability...

More survivability gives you a greater margin for error when mistakes happen and that's never a bad thing...

And once again, wearing SPC and Combat Physician would be an awesome combo...

I personally wear a DPS set on my back bar for when my heals + shields are complete overkill and all we need is the occasional heal, but your idea is fantastic as well...

I have a full set I use in trials if the group wants/needs it. My healer has five different sets I can switch to depending on what I am doing and/or what the group might need.

    Which sets?
    @Tasear

    Spell Power Cure for trials.

Wormcult also trials if other healer has Spell Power Cure and we have mostly magicka DPS.

Seducer heavy armor for PvP with large guild group and sometimes DLC vet pledges.

Seducer light armor for four man groups when I am going to be healing and doing DPS.

Kagrenac's Hope I wear along with the heavy Seducers sometimes in PvP.

I also have a set of Mothers Sorrow I use when I am doing solo PvE stuff and Vicious Death gear I can use as 2nd set for some PvP.

I have assorted Monster helm/shoulder sets, Willpower jewelry and Julianos in the bank I can grab to fill out slots as needed.

I don't have the trait I want on a couple of armor pieces but I hope that will change soon.

I'm shocked that SPC hasn't been nerfed yet, since the community uses the set overwhelmingly.

It amazes me how defensive the people who don’t have SPC get over this lol.

A Healer has TWO jobs, not one. You have to Heal the group and buff the group. If you only heal your group and aren’t supporting them with the tons of buffs at your disposal, you aren’t a good healer. Plain and simple, no one will want you in trials because you’re almost useless.

Spell Power Cure, Worm, and Mending tend to be the best sets for healers to wear. Amongst those, Spell Power Cure is the strongest and therefore #1 priority. It provides too much benefit to pass up.

I do not use it... yet... but once I start farming it and obtain a full 5 peice set, I would be using it.
SPC is one of the best sets for healers, hands down.
