Necromancer class. With lich as a monster skill line. Warriors are werewolf centric, thieves and assassins are vampire centric. It’s time for Mages to have something similar.

I think there definitely should be more classes and more will be added

There's so much more potential with play styles and I personally think the current classes are quite close to balance at the moment.
They never will be perfectly balanced as that's a matter of opinion

Spellsword, necromancer or whatever else I'll be happy to see it

No. I want them to fix existing classes first.

Just look at what a disaster the warden is. Most useless PvE class ever released (abysmal magicka DPS and not good enough to take over top picks in any other role), yet everyone and their mother is complaining about how OP they are in PvP (because they're a high burst damage/heal class). ZOS basically just necroed a class they designed in alpha but scrapped at the time (it's not hard to see why), and only released it now to sell extra copies of Morrowind. They haven't bothered to make any adjustments to the class since releasing it because who cares about supporting a product after it's been sold.

The next class they release will be just as broken (either UP or OP) as the warden and ZOS won't care about fixing it. That's not good for the game.

I would like the class system dismantled to where you can select any 3 lines and this would lead to a much more diverse set of builds but I'm ok with more classes. More opportunity for different types of game play is rarely a bad thing. I draw the line at more races. That's the deal breaker there!

would love to have a proper assassin class, the nightblade class simply just does not cut it.
the invisibility and stealth and speed of stealth is a strong MUST Have in assassin and nightblade just cannot do what is needed properly.

After much thought, and considering we will never get class rigidity, this.

Lets not kid ourselves. The current system sucks. It sucks, largely because it tries to give choice, and does not give -enough- choice while refusing to design for the choice it currently offers. So.

Lets just remove the damn restrictions allready.

i want them to really clean up the warden. as a professional designer- i find it offensvie to my eyes. the only animations they got right are the falcon wings and the ice armour- every other animation in the class is butt *** ugly- please pass this on to the graphic designer and the person who thought of this. feedback is healthy.

    1. the animations are far too noisy and obnoxoius- the other classes are subtle and when used in unison- blend well. having a forest come out of nowhere and take up the screen is plain ugly,. turn it down.
    2. the visual language of the warden is lame- every class has a natural metaphr- and a few simple animal metaphors the draw upon, like claws, dragons , etc, the wardens are again- not only noisy- but lame- the sight of a floating squid next to my neck is the lamest thing ever. three scarab beetles hitting the ground? who designed this? when you have something as cool as dragon leap- that makes people go- wow- to this- its just not right man....
    3. 3. the skils need to be rebalanced.

im not saying anything new heree- but its obvious the designer that did this is not the original designer who brought us the original 4 classes. the taste isnt there, the cohesiveness and the subtlety - the mor mature animations that made us liek the game- isnt there.

I would prefer that instead of a new class they just remove the current class system entirely, and let the player choose 3 skill lines from any class available(requiring ownership of the ''chapter'' if you want to use non-base game skill trees), but with certain restrictions, for example:

    - Each class would have 1 skill line dedicated to DPS, 1 for tanking and 1 for healing. For example assassination would be a DPS skill tree, shadow a tanking tree and siphoning a healing tree.(ZOS has already mentioned wanting classes to have this setup).

    - Character creation would remain mostly the same, however after reaching lvl 50 in a skill tree(or maybe whenever you want) you would have the option to change it. For example you would be able to change your assassination tree for another class DPS skill tree.

    - This system would work similar to skill respecs, but with a much higher cost so people with only 2 characters(1 stamina and 1 magicka) would prefer to level up multiple characters instead of just switching skill trees whenever they want.

    - When you switch to a new skill tree you have to lvl it all the way up to 50 to unlock skills and passives just like it currently works, and that lvl is kept if you decide to change your skill tree again(like when you cure from vampirism you don't lose your skill line experience)

This would probably require reworking skills/passives and shuffling some skills from one tree to another to better fit with the theme but imo sounds pretty cool.

More? They couldn't balance 4 now they added a 5th and they still have no clue what direction they want to take them.

They need to define their future evolution of class balance for the existing ones before they make a new one.

Every update we see poory conceived changes to skills that don't need to be changed, all for the sake of change itself.

Well I want a new class, but not atm, give us a magic based weapon type (for magblades and magplars), buff two handed for pve to be viable in endgame too
also I'dnt say necro is lore friendly especiall in ESO where you get sacrified at the begining, but maybe a separate skill tree for it or maybe the new class should be a dark mage type with necromance skill line

I'm kind of torn. On the one hand I don't want to see a billion classes added. But on the other hand I also don't want to see future skill lines be given to all classes. I like that classes force us to decide between two options.

There's also the fact that I have two vet characters for almost every class, so adding new classes means more leveling, but I try not to let that sway my opinion too much.

Finally, I would really like them to flesh out the current class skills. There are far too many skills and morphs that either don't get used at all, or if they do, everyone goes with the same morph. I want more skill options that are actually viable.

Honestly? Yes. Even new world skill lines.

Why? Because any new content/addition is a good thing to invigorate things. However, there is a catch. It's called balance. Zos approach is not a good one when it comes to that. It's not an easy task but look at how eso started and the drastic changes that follow every now and then.

So, yes to new class / skill lines only if things are settled down and balanced before that. I don't want , insert number, abilities changed every 2 months instead.

    Necromancers, Bards, Acrobats...

Necromancers I can get on board with. Bards, though? Acrobats? Unless we are talking non combat classes, I don't see how those two would even work.

Bards might be a support class either on PVP or PVE. And Acrobats another kind of assassins, maybe without cloak, I don't know, just coming up with some ideas.

    Check this out:

http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Classes - Predefined Morrowind classes, they could just take some idea from there.

I shame myself as a Morrowind fan. I always used to make a custom class, but I do remember these being a thing now.
Struggling to find a new class to call home. Please send help.
