^^^^ I'm assuming I'm VERY VERY VERY lucky and I was completely shocked. I've seen nothing but Stupid system is stupid on these forums. I received the Golden geode as a PvP end of Campaign reward and BOOM 50 Crystals. I don't PvP much, but I may join the battle more since that happened :D

    Very cool! You give the rest of us hope.

    I got one geode from a random (reward mail), one from a normal and one from a final boss (I think that was it, I had three of them) and all were only 1 each.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    You're guaranteed 50 crystals from the 30 day campaign End-of-Campaign reward. That being said, you only get that once every 30 days.

    That said, congratulations, I suppose.

    Ya, It's really cool that their giving Pvp more rewards & incentives. It just sucks they stole all the crystals from magic sorc bars.
    Like they just harvested all the hollowed out left over duds, or used the good ones to imbue their armor. Saying, "hey rather then getting hit with this, let me use this as an excuse to change my armor."
    Now everyone in pvp is rocking full Nirnhone spell resist 4 free on whatever they want, like back in the day... With this dead crystal, bro.

    Gina specifically said it’s not related to Transmute drops ... it’s something else.

    Oh... I didn't know you were guaranteed 50 from end of campaign rewards. I thought I may have been the chosen one since all I've seen has been doom and gloom over the crystals XD

    What is tier 3?
    Will it be affected by more players wanting tire 3 rater than just pvp to get assault skills or help friends / guild.
    Sounds like the most effective farming method anyway.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.

    I got the geode with 50 crystals on 2 toons ,both had over 100k AP earned and from 2 different factions, didn't matter where the faction finished.

    You'll have a bar that says reward tier. Tier 3 is a few hours work.

    This is nice, as an added bonus, you can keep the geode with 50 crystals until you need it like then you grind or collect an set.

    The console campaign ends before the update -.-

    So we would have to wait about 5-6 more weeks until that opportunity is available to us

    It's not RNG, I'm pretty sure the golden geodes always drop 50. They were handed out if you were at least tier 3 campaign rewards at the end of a 30 day campaign.

    Wowee so i can get 50 crystals just by switching to a 30 day campaign? Weird that they gaurentee 50 crystals for one type of campaign.... Does this mean weekly will gaurentee 13?

    10. I don't think it's contingent on reward tier, though. I kicked around in Kyne on Monday with my DC toon I'm leveling up and got a couple RftW mails, but certainly not 100k AP, and still had a 10 crystal end-of-campaign letter waiting for me the next day (Kyne ended campaign at some point after I logged off Monday night).

    The golden geodes do not always drop 50 - they do for the end of the campaign rewards but not for the RotW containers (which also can contain golden geodes).

    i was above tier 3 rewards and i got 2 mill AP and i only got 5 geodes as reward.
    i did not get 50 geodes!

    Or you can just not play for the 5 days between when the campaign drops and the update happens. You log in and you recieve your mail and boom, get your crystals.
    Not 100% sure if that will work but if it does I'll have 500 crystals waiting in the mail. Just log in one at a time and transmute what I need as the mail comes from each character.
