This is only the beginning of our ongoing efforts to keep the game free from botters, speed hackers, and gold spammers. We want to thank everyone who has sent in-game reports about these individuals in ESO—your reports helped us identify many of the accounts we banned today. Please continue to report any botters, gold spammers, and speed hackers you see in-game, and we’ll continue our efforts to keep them out of Tamriel.

do you remember when you could easily kill any world boss just by yourself? farming was a lot easier. now they require 2 or more people...usually more than 2....

The email that changed it all:
I will never forget the day I received this email... I was so damn happy, that I literally screamed out in appreciation and joy. And I truly felt special in ZOS’ eyes. I felt like I actually meant something to a Gaming company, besides being just another whale to take money from. I mean, I felt special from previous loyalty rewards and all that. The monkey and all that jazz. But being given that type of a mount... It touched me emotionally, as pathetic as that sounds. And it made me want to spread the word to as many of my friends as possible that ESO was a game that truly cared about its players.
I don't wanna remember how good this game was and how many players I don't see any more playing it. This game was a fantastic creation when it first came out, with a few bugs/exploits here and there but now???????
I just wanna complete the content I've been unable to since launch and be done with it.
As for the lag side of things... Oh man. Lol. You used to couldn’t even pass by the door of that damn farm without blue screening. It used to be that jam packed. And certain guilds even started trying to capitalize off of it. They’d charge a fee to let you farm mats in there, and if you called yourself refusing to pay up, they’d spam AoE skills were you were to crash your game. And this could continue over and over again, until you paid the fee to be left alone (which I think was 5k or 10k).

@Aquanova Do you remember when obtaining emperor was actually something special? And there wasn’t alliances making deals, and trading emperor? Back when it didn’t matter how much gold you had, or what guild you were cliqued up with. Unless you put in the work, you were never touching emperor status. And back then, the folks who earned emperor were the truth. If you encountered a Former Emperor on the battle field, you had best had been prepared or you were going to get rocked. Lol. Nowadays...? The emperors who run Vicec and Scourge prior to Morrowind and all that jazz are bums. Stoners and scrubs who copied YouTube builds, and got boosted to their position. Having their buddies run scrolls to them from the opposite alliance and all that corny nonsense.
And although relatively new, do you remember when having the Ophidian Overlord and Stormproof title actually meant something? Back when you could be roaming through Rawlkha, Elden Root, or Mournhold with that title and people swarmed around. And if you were a Flawless Conqueror? Pfffft. Forget about it. You shut it down where you were. You were the person to clique up with.

Jesus, that is some mafia crap right there, lol.
I always just shadow cloaked my way through Craglorn, solo, to grab most of the skyshards. Of course now it's a LOT easier to do so, but before the complete overhaul, it was still doable....as long as you had plenty of soul gems.

when the game was *** fun, thank you ZOS.

I remember tip toeing around The Rift because it was a lvl 40 area and I was lvl 30. One troll could kill me. Kind of a rush running for your life from higher lvl enemies. xD

HAHAHA this reminds me of an instance where i was in the Rift on an alt (I still dislike this zone) and had sort of teamed up with an argonian player. We were both lvl 10/11 something like that. Those dang Trolls were chasing us and a mammoth and Im pretty sure a troll and we were hauling ass trying to get out of there with our plants. I still laugh cry when I think about it...
