Depends on role.
If DPS, its all the same, put up buffs, attack-animation cancel, and use procs if any.
Healer anything but Templar is just morph your class's heals, throw on resto and watch healthbars and keep magicka up.
Tanks are a little different between classes and specs.
Ironic, DPS seems simple, and it is for the most part, but people still don't quite get it right for some reason.
stamblade required the MOST skill to play? really? Stealth -> Endless Hail -> Ambush -> spin to win -> Execute with Killer's Blade.
Doesn't get any easier than that. At least for PvE. Can't say for PvP since I have yet to set foot in Cyrodiil.
Except that if you're using Cloak in PvE you're not playing stamina NB well.
I saw people mentioned Stam NB a lot as a "hard" build to play. In fact I find it to be much easier to play than Mag Templar. At least I know I can burst stuff fast and not run out of resources and if I die it's clearly a big mistake I've done.

Endless Hail does NOT break stealth as long as you attack BEFORE the first damage tick. I get the extra damage from attacking an opponent from behind while stealthed as a bonus to ambush.
Stealthy Passive:
•Increases damage done while in Stealth by 10%
Master Assassin Passive:
•Increases Weapon and Spell Damage while invisible or stealthed by 10%. The stun from the Crouch ability stuns for 100% longer.
Ambush:
•Also grants you Empower, increasing the damage of your next attack by 20%.
Not that they're tough to play (are any?) but they do need more micromanangement because they're all about the DOT refresh.

While Mag Sorc isn't hard to be decent at, if you are TRULY great as a Mag Sorc, you're unbeatable.
It's hard to suck as a Sorc, but it's also got imo arguably the highest skill ceiling in the game, equal with Stamblade. Both squishy, have to be able to react to what is happening around you moreso than DK's and Templars due to innate tankiness and healing respectively.
20% of Mag Sorcs suck, 70% fall into the below/average/above-average threshold of ESO players. Very few people are elite as Mag Sorcs at least in my view, in comparison to other specs. For example, it's hard to suck as a Stam Sorc or DK, keep your buffs up, spam dizzying swing and heal when you need, and you'll be fine 90% of the time
EDIT: honourable mention to Magblade. It was the last spec I rolled, so perhaps has more to do with natural reactions etc, but I honestly could not get the hang of magblade. I went from being pretty close to winning probably 9/10 duels on Mag Sorc and DK, to struggling to win any as a magblade.

While I'm sure that's fun when you're playing overland PvE content, I don't think that should be the benchmark for whether you're playing your class well.

I've been trying to play Mag Templar well in vMA for amost a month now and every run is just awful. DPS, especially burst is not that bad but is the sustain that's killing me. With ~1.5K recovery and good weaving. Also it seems to be something fishy about radiant oppression. It doesn't seem the damage scales properly although I make sure I only cast it under 15% and pump up my magicka before. I would certainly not bring that character in any veteran dungeon, let alone trial, as DD. I'm missing something for sure but the fact improvement has been really slow compared to the other classes I play certainly says something about the necessary skill level.
