Well a stambladr healer is damn hard to play, what is the context? Each class is easier at certain roles.

It really depends on what you like / what your own playstyle is. There is no hard or easy class to play. Only as hard or easy as you make it yourself. Anything is hard with crap gear, and anything is easy with great gear.

I've been trying to play Mag Templar well in vMA for amost a month now and every run is just awful. DPS, especially burst is not that bad but is the sustain that's killing me. With ~1.5K recovery and good weaving. Also it seems to be something fishy about radiant oppression. It doesn't seem the damage scales properly although I make sure I only cast it under 15% and pump up my magicka before. I would certainly not bring that character in any veteran dungeon, let alone trial, as DD. I'm missing something for sure but the fact improvement has been really slow compared to the other classes I play certainly says something about the necessary skill level.

I believe stamina nightblade at times can be punished the hardest compared to any class once cloak is denied. Kind of like Duroks Bane against a Templar or Shield Breaker against a Sorc. Requires quiet a lot of finesse to maintain cloak and juke enemies.

no one is timing shields. they are constantly up and stacked. its like keeping a buff up only there is no penalty if you re-up the shield before it runs out. The only penalty being the resource cost.

I think a lot of people are choosing mag sorc because they have fought one or whatever and got nuked and now they think sorc is some super skilled awesome class. Its timing. thats it. oh and a 28 meter(?) safe execute that allows them to dominate in BGs and duels.

    Depends on role.

If DPS, its all the same, put up buffs, attack-animation cancel, and use procs if any.

Healer anything but Templar is just morph your class's heals, throw on resto and watch healthbars and keep magicka up.

Tanks are a little different between classes and specs.

Ironic, DPS seems simple, and it is for the most part, but people still don't quite get it right for some reason.

stamblade required the MOST skill to play? really? Stealth -> Endless Hail -> Ambush -> spin to win -> Execute with Killer's Blade.

Doesn't get any easier than that. At least for PvE. Can't say for PvP since I have yet to set foot in Cyrodiil.

Ironic, DPS seems simple, and it is for the most part, but people still don't quite get it right for some reason.

That's because every new solo player is going to want to do damage. They cannot complete content without killing the overland creatures, and to kill those creatures you don't need AOE and you don't need to do high damage. Overland is too easy as many threads have suggested. New players don't learn.

Also DPS doesn't has a very high effeciency ceiling. To do sufficient damage you need to balance buffs, resources, dots and aoe. Tanks merely need to use a taunt and they'll do their role well enough for most dungeons. Healers just need a couple heals on their bar and they can perform well enough for most content. Tank and healer don't exactly need the right gear sets either because the sets only support their role whereas DPS NEED specific sets.

To do DPS right, it is difficult compared to the other two roles. And usually only experienced players will start one of the other roles.

When I started group PVE, I was coming off of PVP builds and toon a few dungeons to learn a new rotation. Whereas my tank was straightforward in building - use taunt, hold boss in place and use the rest of the bar for enemy debuffs and group buffs.

StamBlade since it's mostly single target damage. All the others are buff1 -> aoe1 - > aoe2 -> execute -> self heal -> repeat classes. Although, if all the StamBlades you encounter are through groupfinder, you might think they are just BowBlades, aoe1 -> pew pew -> repeat. /shrug

How can stamina NB be the hardest if everyone has the exact same front bar??

Ambush, mass hysteria, incap strike, suprise attack or execute

nothing hard about that at all, your sets do most the work anyway

stam nb, we don't have shields or op heals. Cloak? lol it's only useful as long as it doesn't get completly countered. Stam sorc hurricane, mag templar has that ground snare and aoe jabs, dk's have talons, mag sorcs have curse, mag nb criple and snare. Like lol wtf cloak is near useless against good players. I wish i could negate shields and heals and render them useless. Then you can cry. and no.. lethal arrow doesn't count, no good stam nb player will run such noob move.

I'd use cloak in PVE all the time. Bypass a lot of trash mobs and it's basically required for Darkbrotherhood and Thirves Guild quests.

    Mag Sorceror
I voted Mag Sorc, which is probably a bit silly to some, but hear me out.

While Mag Sorc isn't hard to be decent at, if you are TRULY great as a Mag Sorc, you're unbeatable.

It's hard to suck as a Sorc, but it's also got imo arguably the highest skill ceiling in the game, equal with Stamblade. Both squishy, have to be able to react to what is happening around you moreso than DK's and Templars due to innate tankiness and healing respectively.

20% of Mag Sorcs suck, 70% fall into the below/average/above-average threshold of ESO players. Very few people are elite as Mag Sorcs at least in my view, in comparison to other specs. For example, it's hard to suck as a Stam Sorc or DK, keep your buffs up, spam dizzying swing and heal when you need, and you'll be fine 90% of the time :D

EDIT: honourable mention to Magblade. It was the last spec I rolled, so perhaps has more to do with natural reactions etc, but I honestly could not get the hang of magblade. I went from being pretty close to winning probably 9/10 duels on Mag Sorc and DK, to struggling to win any as a magblade.
