You don't need to report every character in the Bot Train. Just get one of them and in the report include the approximate number of bots in the group and the general area you found them in. The Game Master will see what is going on when they go out to investigate.

Every single time i report bot i write there name in chat and i say " If you want to clean your game of these stupid damn bots , report them also here are the name : abc , abcd , abcde ect...
And after that i make a screen and i keep this , so i have a screenshot from the 15 september ... and as you know they are still running at kardthar so ... I don't think they care.

You cannot ask in zone chat for people to report someone when they have not seen the crime. It's a gallant effort but people cannot accuse by proxy. There is potential for abuse in that method. Plus think, you would not go door to door in your neighborhood and ask people to go to a police department and report your next door neighbor for wife abuse based on what you saw. Their testimonies would be false. You must witness the crime yourself to report it. Tho your zeal is commendable.

Shooting a video with names enabled and posting on a forum thread set aside for bot accusations would be nice and a lot easier. But we would need zos' permission. As of now reporting on forums is not allowed:
Naming-and-Shaming: We do not allow posts or threads that are created for the purpose of “naming-and-shaming” other community member(s). “Naming-and-shaming” is the act of creating a post to call out an individual or group by name, and making them the subject of public accusation, ridicule and/or shaming. Generally, naming-and-shaming involves an in-game situation and/or Terms of Service violation, which the ESO Community Team is unable to assist with....

Make the video private and send a PM to the Admins with the link, that gets around the Naming and Shaming restriction.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

This drives me insane! I've seen and reported this same train over and over again. They will perma-ban players for finding other exploits but this one doesn't seem to be an issue....

There are a few blaring reasons as to why this is no different and maybe even more disruptive to the community than gear farming exploits. *please note that I don't agree with either practice*

    Exhibit 1.
Lets just take the famous Maw farmer for example, that trials gear will be bound to his account and for that player's use only. Not to mention they actually need to be present... at their PC spending their time doing so.
    -Vs-
A bot train farming easy to kill monsters, such as Alits, Mudcrabs, or others with multiple accounts following the same path macro. This will drop thousands of unrefined mats (Rubedo Scraps) over the hours of the day to be sold at their local guild trader valued at thousands per stack of 200, or even refined to sell the improvement mats also valued at thousands per dreugh wax.

Gold Farming, anyone? Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is a violation of the Terms of Service. The in game Gold these bots collect can then be sold for real world money to players who want large quantities of Gold without having to earn it. Players that buy Gold usually use it to buy end game gear and other such items.

    Exhibit 2.
The XP gain for each active bot in the train is substantial. So it would be totally doable for each bot to level a character from start to finish in a day. While every other person had to actually play the game and work to level from 0-50. If we had to put in the time, everyone should.

Q: Why does ZOS allow this?
A: Because each bot is a paid subscription to hold the vast quantities of materials they "earn" in their bottomless craft bag! So cheating is okay, so long as you pay!

ZOS, please fix this issue and adhere to the Terms of Service you created.

It's not that they can't fix it, it's that they won't.

They were moving to fast to get the names of all of them I could only manage one bot train follow there were so many. We are not allowed to "name and blame" according to zos policy (which I agree with as it stops a lot of ridiculous situations) on forums. I do not know where I would get in trouble with this and do not wish to get an account ban for public blaming. Thus my pic here has no name visuals.

They are in Karthdar, Grahtwood at this time. I was going to shard hunt there but I'm staying clear of that zone now.

It seems to me, they already have almost everything set in place to take care of bots and botters, except actually having GM's on staff.

So far, everything they seem to do is from the retroactive development standpoint and not active moderation standpoint. The only evidence I have ever seen of active GM's are from one time a temprary GM' logged in on the last big festival and started banning people standing around dolmens, and catching more people just waiting for the dolmen to pop than actual rubberbanders or botters.

Without live staff on hand botters will continue to have free reign.
As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.

There are about five or more bot trains running tonight on PC-NA and I cannot report any of them because the game only allows for the option via targeting and they move constantly. I could not even get them when they paused to turn which makes me question if they accomplished coding to stop people from being able to report.

You know OP, you have a really good point! Bot trains are actually really hard to target, and their names can be really hard to read or otherwise report directly.

Keeping this in mind I heard your complaint and I took it upon myself to solve your problem with this:

    The Bot Scanner 2000

With this simple and easy to use tool, you can gather all of the bot names in one fell swoop and directly open the report window with their name ALREADY FILLED OUT. I threw this thing together in like a day, so it's a little bare bones, but it should do almost precisely what you want.

Of course working on this addon lead me to discover that ZOS straight up removed the option to directly report botting. And who says they don't care about the problem? lol

Anyway, I hope you like it!

ZOS claims their Devs and Staff play ESO . You'd think they could take a few minutes and clean up their game . I guess they don't trust Devs to be GMs or something . It's just really weird place ZoS . Like some gave a garage studio a few hundred million to run a MMO .

ZOS must have a reason for not jumping on this. I suspect these are all paying subs and each ban represents a loss of income and that results in a delay.

IF that is the case then they forget on how many players, people that are subs and buy crowns(aswell) are going to leave. It was like that before and looks like people will leave, again.

People leave ESO right now because there are bots in Karthdar, Grahtwood. Seriously, if You are on PC doesn't matter NA or EU just go there and see for yourself(they are outside of it killing mostly tigers).
    ZOS does nothing.

People leave ESO because they got hit by meteor 10 times in a row by one person.
    ZOS does nothing.

People abuse glitch to get gold mats and thus getting rich:
"Here is 3 day ban, keep everything and don't do that, ok?"

Even the stupid skin and title from Maw of Lorkhaj that people got thanks to bug/glitch, at that time IT WAS THE HARDEST GROUP CONTENT IN THE GAME. It was where your PvE group journey ended.
Was there something done about it?

P.S. Anyone actually seen gamemaster in game? Not in beta but lately?

If they do play, maybe they only do so on their own private/internal server. I'm tired of seeing huge bot trains. No point reporting them since nothing ever gets done about them.

It wouldn't surprise me if the botters level the accounts, then sell them to lazy players. With easy name change on the account available, they can make a fortune ripping ZOS off.

Don't bother, they run in Riften 24/7 pretty much and I've reported them numerous times and they are there the next day, ZOS doesn't care.
