If I wanted to play a FPS, I would go play one.
What do guns have to do with an FPS? They're just weapons.
GW2 has guns, but they are functionally identical to bows. It's just a thematic thing.
Having said that, they're about to introduce scoped sniper rifles and SWAT-looking armour in their next expansion, which is a bit over-the-top and breaks immersion (rifles/pistols up until this point had a steampunk look):
How is this post related to Elder Scrolls in any way? Off-topic pro-gun lunacy.
Oh yus, where did I write this?

No. It possibly needs to be a SOLID for it to be considered a projectile. Like a suppository. You wouldn't want that to be steam, now would you?
This discussion has had some of my more hateful comments about firearms and how they should be used removed.
There is no comment or indication by ZOS that this edit operation has been undertaken, either by a comment by a ZOS admin; or the presence of a ZOS icon against the discussion.
I can only assume that ZOS wants this conversation to continue. With that in mind they clearly want to see where it will go.
Ergo, they are seriously considering it.
Redguards have cannons, technically. But I am unsure whether at this timeframe or slightly later. But it's during the second era anyhow.
Possibly the worst idea I have ever seen for this game.
Also with last night's mass shooting in Vegas I'm sure the last thing ZOS wants to do is promote and advertise adding in machine guns into the game.
