@Adenoma I'm talking about PvE here, as I dont like pvp very much personally. The dps-output is the lowest of all classes atm.

@Huyen , I get reasonable single target DPS on stamwarden sitting around 32-35k. I don't know about the numbers you're looking for, but without raid buffs that's still pretty solid damage.
I switch on and off between stamsorc and magsorc. Currently i am playing stam because it is better than magicka.

About a month back, it became a stamden....and it'll stay that way. Who knows...maybe I'll finally finish a factions entire questline on this one. Maybe even more than one.
Mag Warden, because I like to live dangerously! But seriously, I find it a lot of fun, and since I play solo almost exclusively, I don't have to worry about min/max, though I find that I do really good damage fairly easily. He's also a werewolf for when I feel like shaking it up. He's a Reachman witch, and I've been in love with him since Morrowind launched.

My first "main" is a stamblade, for fluff reasons.
My second one is a magica sorceror...
...which are basicylly my two "usual" character concepts, the agile sneaky "martial arts" ninja type and the physically weak but magically powerful wizard type - most games I play, I go for one of those, and the only question is with which I start...
More surprising is my third "main", a hybrid build "paladin-template" templar... which is a setup I usually do NOT go for. Originally made as crafting alt, the character kinda grew on me...
Main is Templar healer. Alts are dk tank and stamsorc. Though I couldn't get used to how poor the queue for dungeons was on my stamsorc. So my healer is my main. Plus I enjoy healing.

I must be doing something terribly wrong then...anyhow, my sorcerer (even at level 30) feels OP like hell.

In different time i play different alts it depends on which one is currently favorite and which were played so a lot that have become boring. Now i play tanky stam warden in PvP more often then other chars, but i will change when get boried with her.
I play Stamblade, Magblade, Stamsorc, Magwarden as mains.
Not just one, just depending on what the grp/raid needs.
and then I have specialised chars for farming, stealing, looting etc.
