✭Supicious of them, but gives them a chanceI'd always give them the chance to do the fights first, see if they're fulfilling their role. Also see if the dungeon needs that role.
Same goes for low level players, I'd always give them a chance to fight first before I drop out if the group is hopeless in finishing.
This is bcos I've been there done that, I can be low levels but I know how to fight and what to do, and the mechanics.
Also Templar can be hybrid effectively, meaning they can tank, heal and dps , just by swapping gears, don't need respec on skill points cos I already invested all skill line fully 325 skill points. No cp need to change for either role, cos 660 cp is plenty to allocate on each role. And all three roles put attributes in magicka just alter the food you eat and you are good to go into either role.
So nothing wrong with it if it's a hybrid build.Pc na2 -

To break it down:
If I'm the dedicated tank and:- They are the only one marked as a healer:
- I'll be more concentrated about my own self-preservation so I can rez the players that die to the lack of real heals.
- There is a dedicated healer in the group:
- I'll view the Tri-Player as a bad DPS and expect bosses to take a while, but that's not bothersome unless there's a DPS check.
If I'm one of the DPS and:- They are technically the other DPS:
- I'll view the Tri-Player as a bad DPS and expect to have to do most of the damage work on the bosses.
- They are the only one tagged as healer:
- I'll be more mindful of my self heals and try harder to keep heals on the tank. Also, I'd probably replace Shooting Star with Veil so we get more damage mitigation.
- They are the only one tagged as tank:
- I'll keep an eye on them during the first few pulls. If they're doing a minimum of at least keeping taunts up, we're ok.

✭✭✭✭✭I never pre-judge a group. If we do OK on the first trash mob pull, I will wait until the first boss. If we wipe in spectacular fashion, its time to talk to the group and maybe time to leave it.

I don't like that people can queue for more than one role and would like that to change. Doesn't matter to me if they can do more than one role well or not they should decide before going in what role they want to be.and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."3 -

If they’re obviously just abusing the roles select in the Groupfinder (like we can’t get past the first boss), I vote to kick.
If that fails, I leave. I’ll take the 15 minutes over the repair costs any day.2 -

You see this a lot in normals, feels like the main downside of an warden healer is low dps. 5K single target while templar is around 15K real performance on boss with group who did not need lots of heal.DocFrost72 wrote: »<--- does this.

On the other hand you can do an vet dungeon pledge with Wayrest 2 then do an normal random with the same dungeon and have to work harder and its slower
And you can swap around, good tanks to swap between dd, tanky dd and full tank depending on group and enemy.

Especially if they're a Warden. If they show up as tank in my group, I expect them to have at least 30K health. If I have more health on my DPS character than they do, I become VERY suspicious...1 -

I would be rather amused if I got insta kicked because someone thought I was lying about being able to tank something as benign as vICP or whatever.
