No, is not. Not gonna pay 500k AP for just ONE trasmutation stone. I don't PVP much but have accumulated a good amount and wont like to spend it all for just 2 or 3 of these stones.

Seems odd to jump to reducing commodities when PvE is a result from kills.
PVPers don't really do quests - cos its still PVE..
I'm liking the other ideas though. Whatever the mechanism is, it should be even.. If an average PVEer can average X stones per evening of doing dungeons, An average PVPer should average the same amount from an evening of Pvping.

Maybe buy for 1 million AP once a week?(AS SUGGESTED BY COMMENTS BELOW, END OF CAMPAIGN REWARDS IS A BETTER IDEA IMO) IDK, i'm not into going back to do more PVE. Yes i know thats my problem!

I had to go grind to get my skills from PVP, you guys need to grind with us to get transmute items.

You call few hours of PvP, with 100% chance to get desired skills grinding? lmao

@Biro123
The Kill X amount of whomever stuff in Cyrodil and the current daily IC kill quest types or just drop these from kills in how loot drops today in PvP randomly but change it to be useful items....surely you would rather do those vs grinding AP and TV for this new commodity?
All you people thinking its gonna be easy to re-trait gear... these crystals are gonna have a drop rate like aethereal dust or require many crystals to transmute...

I expect it will much rarer, more in the area of 1 in 50 runs will net you enough for 1 retrait. I believe this new system is more of a supplement than a replacement for farming a set.
Example, I remember farming BSW. Must have run it 150-200 times because i just couldn't get the legs in divines (spoiler, i did eventually). I had the rest of the armor easily within the first 100 runs. Its situations like that i believe the new system will come into play. I would have earned 2 retrait crystals in that first 100 runs, could have burned one on the legs and would have been done.
We'll see how it shakes out, but if my scenario is correct, i would say 1M is a more reasonable price tag. I rarely PVP and i have 2.5M AP sitting in my bank. About 2M of that is from the last double PVP event.

If they make it too easy to transmute... then they will be killing off gear grinding... now if drop rates were low then essentially the grind will be for two things... both the item and/or the crystals...

@sevomd69
Killing off gear grinding is good, though. Why would choose wasting our time instead of enjoying the content, or heaven forbid needing to play for fewer hours? I think there's a certain amount of content hours per content type that they need to keep going to make sure there's a healthy community size at all hours, but anything beyond that is absolutely pointless.
