    I play on PC EU, Sotha Sil. Capturing resources is a lot harder than it used to be. Mage Guards will incessantly spam Eclipse, which you cannot break free from; I feel like the uptime on that particular debuff is 50%. Menders will use the stun attack very often when they aren't healing. The Honor Guards will instantly heal to full every so often, seemingly on a timer. I also feel like I heal a lot less during these fights, as if I've been afflicted with Major Defile, even after I've purged and have no debuffs on me.

    I've only recently returned to PvP, so I'm not sure when this change (if any) took place, or whether any of the above is intended, but I do remember resources being a lot easier to capture than they currently are.

    At least on PC EU on all campaigns do the guards spam eclipse like no tomorrow, which is now unbreakable and is still not updated which skills it should reflect. It can reflect siege weapons, destro ultis and almost every other skill in the game. Did i mention you can NOT break it? Quite fun to take a resource now.
    Ice Furnace: This item set now grants Spell Damage, rather than Weapon Damage for the 4 piece bonus

    its not a challange if guards can cast ecplise on cooldown.

    Thats a cc immunity that gets ignored, and that should be fixxed asap.
    As mag nb there is nothing i can do against ecplise from guards.

    EVERY of my class skills get reflected, including malee concealed weapon which is completly stupid.

    Its so annoying that every npc on a resource is spamming you with cc, you need a cc pot to be able to kill anything before they bump back up to 100% hp.

    Ridiculous, ZoS effectively trying to weed out the solo players I guess, scummy.

    Also, pretty sad the only way in which to make your game more 'challenging' is to take away CC immunity against NPCs and couple that with them being able to spam negates and CC abilities constantly.

    Also playing something off that you don't care to put any effort into fixing as "intended" is quite classy, Brian. Blizzard does that all the time, and their subs are dropping faster than flies in a cloud of Raid.

    Learn from your competition, not emulate them. :/

    Guards are still far too powerful. MAYBE let them have negate but the amount of CC they have is stupid. That isn't even mentioning the fact that yes, they can go from 5% health to 98% in a second

    If, as ZOS has said in the past, you want PVE and PVP to function the same, then the NPC abilities need to work the same as player abilities when they match, and need to respect CC immunity and other basic gameplay mechanics. How are novices to Cyrodiil supposed to be prepared for the fact that all the mechanics they have learned, and the ones they are going to face from other players, suddenly have their rules rewritten at resources?

    It's easy for many builds (well, all of mine) to take a resource solo. The problem is when there are players on that resource, which is often. If you have the guards constant CC applied or Eclipse and well, BOTH do you realise how much of a disadvantage that is? You can't defend yourself, you can't attack, you're a sitting duck! Guard's Eclipse reflects EVERYTHING, even melee attacks. Slam has no immunity. Luckily the guards have no burst so you can take a potion and wait for a window to attack. If 1 player is there, all they have to do is apply 1 burst of damage, 1 Surprise Attack, an ulti, a Frag, Jesus Beam, anything and you're toast.

    Eclipse and Slam are broken, that is the biggest complaint. You are right to ignore the whiners that can't flip a flag solo though.

    All of the above is made even "better" by the fact that they throw so much *** at you that half of it doesn't render half the time. I get stuff thrown back in my face by eclipses I can't even see.

    People aren't just running on to the flag trying to 1v8 all the NPCs are they?

    The way you take resources is to run into the tower, kill the mage, kill the stragglers that wander in after you, and then deal with the four flag defenders.

    If there is an enemy player there, then yes you are going to have a tough time. As it should be.
