There is currently 2 modes, normal and veteran. But since the difficulty of the old dungeon ( at their release ) is left forever : City of ash II - Crypt of earth II - Imperial city prison veteran - white gold tower veteran, And all these dungeon wich was a bit difficult are nerfed again and again directly ( dungeons nerf ) and inderectly ( increase of cp cap ) ... I think it's time to give us a Third difficulty.
This third difficulty that we could call " Expert " <<<<<<should not give more rewards>>>>>>, why ? Simply because we all know that people are jealous ... everybody want everything, and if they decide to add this new difficulty, it should not be nerfed simply because " novice players " want to get better loot AND be able to light attack through the dungeon.
This " expert difficulty " should just increase the health of the mobs/boss ( to make the mechanics longer ) increase mobs/boss damage (yes, there is a lot of " heal sets" not used simply because spell power cure is well better for " dd burst " this would also make DD obbliged to go out of the red circle ) Make the boss mechanics faster? ( don't know, imagine molag kena with the line of lightning turning even faster xD this would be epic ).

Q: Why don't you just put off your cps and gear ?
A: Simply because doing this increase "artificially "the difficulty of the dungeons ... and it's not fun when there still a part of your mind who know that in reality the dungeon is easy... And also because complete a dungeon should give the impression of a push through the limit ( limit = difficulty of the dungeon ) and not the reverse.
Q: Why don't you run with pugs ?
A: I would love ... but everyone don't speak english, sometimes you fall with a " non-english group " who simply can't complete the dungeons cause they don't read the mechanics that you try to explain them , sometimes IT'S an english group ... but they also dont read what you write cause they think they are OP and can nuke the dungeon simply because they play a sorcerer ... lel . Of course this make the dungeon harder ... but instead of yell " YEAHHHHH " in group once the dungeon is complete ... you will just get a headache while they are leaving the dungeon 1 by 1 without say thank ... 80% of the time.
Q: So … no rewards ?
A: Maybe more achievement for this difficulty … this would be cool , but personnaly i don't need more key or token or better loot … i just want to have fun with my friend like everyone.

The "problem" with HM is it only affects the last boss.There's already 3 dungeon difficulty levels.

Go play vMA if the game's not "hard" enough.
They should be 'achievable' achievements though. Going through naked would be annoying because 0 sustain and heavy-attacking a boss for 10 minutes is not fun (a lot of people complained about that for Morrowind release). It feels like this kind of system would keep the old stuff relevant without forcing them to rework a third level of difficulty. I am personally more interested in their time spent on NEW content. I LIKE hard content- it can be a lot of fun.
Artificial difficulty is part of what has kept this game fun for me though. My friends and i started doing naked dungeons and other goofy stuff to see if we could.
I feel like increasing boss health/mechanic timing would feel very lame to me.part of what made WGT so amazing in the beginning was figuring out HOW I do this. It wasn't just hard bc of boss health and dps. It was hard because it was a new, creative challenge.
It won't change anything from what we have right now.

Even if you don't put rewards behind them in terms of gear, as long as you put SOMETHING (like achievements, titles, skins, etc.) people WILL complain and express their entitlement to be able to complete it.
And then we start the whole circus from the beginning.

I would be fine with this. If it happened I would want the 3rd level locked until you complete the vet HM of the dungeon though.
Also something like double rewards would be fine but I wouldn't lock gold level gear behind it. That will just lead to complaining.
They could just reward a title or achievement or something.
What 3rd difficulty are you talking about? The one where you have to stop dps and play some emotes untill the boss spawned enough adds in coh or banished cells? Or the one where the boss jumps less often and therefore can be killed faster in coa? Not everyone should be able to complete everything in my opinion. That's what makes it fun and challenging and gives worth to what you have achieved.
