Bid on multiple trader locations?

There has been a rise in ghost guilds bidding on multiple locations to be able to secure guilds a spot on their trader. The cost of traders across the map has increased in prices. Not just traders in high traffic areas, but traders out in the wild and outlaw's refuges as well. Do you think guilds being able to use these bids are fair? Are they driving up the cost? Or perhaps it's all the new guilds that are bidding high that are driving up the cost of these traders by not knowing what to bid, so they just bid really high in hopes that they can secure a trader. Specifically referring to PS4 NA. What are you're thoughts?

Every week, I see so many empty traders, claimed with no stock. For my guilds, getting a trader is an exciting time, we build our reserves of stock, we educate ourselves on current pricing trends, we are ready to sell. The situation with the traders in the PS4 NA server is just nuts and it sucks that no one at ZOS seems to monitor this type of thing. Well, from a post I saw on FB where many GMs that do that practice commented, they said they set up dummy guilds so they can bid on more than one trader to ensure that they secure a spot for their guild. If they secure more than one spot, they then coordinate with another guild that didn't get a spot and give/sell that spot to the other guild by disbanding the dummy guild.
The amount of effort that goes into this to work the system is just mind boggling to me.6 -

I already see a ton of players selling stuff in zone. You can usually buy stuff much cheaper there than what's listed in traders.1 -

It'd be great if someone from ZOS would actually comment on this problem. I've seen countless posts from players on here pointing out this very issue on the NA server and yet there has been no comment from ZOS about this issue. It's very frustrating because it is becoming nasty.
I've legitimately had GMs of guilds attack my friends and myself over our opinions on this tactic. They even flat out said at yes, they use ghost guilds so they can make quick and easy gold by selling the spot to other guilds. It's a terrible abuse of the trade system and it'd be nice if ZOS showed some interest in this issue.3 -

✭✭No idea, but the low traffic spots seem to be a lot more expensive these days.
Might be nice if they added a few more trader NPCs in various towns and outlaw refuges.

This is horrible. How could zos even be okay with one guild having a ton of ghost guilds to bid on traders. You would think they would put a multiple bidding system in place for guilds if they wanted us to do this.0 -

My point exactly. If ZOS wanted the trade system to be used like this, they would have built it to be used like this.3 -
hal2031✭On PC NA Trader spot are still cheap if you are not on a capital or in belkarth. Seen some in the 5 figure for a week considering that minimum bid is 10k its very close to minimum. On the other hand in capitals or belkarth its well in the million per week.There is still good deal to be had if you know where to bid.0

IDK zos does tend to overlook a lot of things. They would have had to foreshadow that this would happen and plan on players using that tactic. Doesn't seem very likely, more like a loophole they've found to get around it. It's not like players haven't found loopholes in other parts of the game before too.
