I don't think removing those motifs is a loss, they are really cheap in guild stores now. They don't remove things every month so I think the amount isn't unusual. Is it my imagination or are they removing more things from the store than they are adding this time around?
Okay so, I'm posting pictured of the costumes that are being removed, for reference. Modeled by my Redguard, Sahima, because I find her pretty and really I had to choose one of my characters for it and I was too lazy to character-hop to show the costumes on different characters.

Nobody is playing this game to look like a field hand or Random NPC #54.

a couple of wolves (I don't buy wolf mounts anymore because the animation is clumsy)

I almost never see people wearing the Desert Garden Gala overdress, even though it's very elaborate and beautiful, takes dyes well, etc. I wonder if it gets slept on because so many people still don't know there's a hide helmet option?
Meanwhile the old noble dress is still the go-to for the gazillion Altmer sorceress Barbies (with the Duchess personality, ofc) seen everywhere.

For me, the issues with the Desert Gala dress are the puffy sleeves and skirt... they just baloon out in odd places. I'd overlook that at for 500 crowns, but not for 1000.
I keep refreshing but the slight delay on the new bar that drops from the top of the page is messing with my eyes

Those are good points, particularly the point about price. I personally like the "puffy," or voluminous, elements, while the warhorse noble dress bugs me because it makes the character's torso look conical. But the Desert Gala dress price is kinda "why?" On that, I have to agree.

I'm so tired of limited editions that are only available for four days. It's just so disappointing to people who cant get them in that time. I like the costumes and the wolves a lot.
If the Glenmoril Witch costume had been cheaper, I would have bought it, but I never thought it was worth that price, especially with the sandals that make it look like they'd have cold feet all the time, despite the rest of the outfit looking warmer.
I do have that lovely Desert Garden robe, though, and the Elder Council outfit. I use both of them a lot, and they both dye beautifully.
Agree. Love those muted colours. Have an awesome.Alchemical wrote: »I like the more toned down, 'normal people' clothes as opposed to ridiculous and bombastic armor.

the desert gala dress is my main's main outfit and has always been one of my favorites. I guess I never noticed the puffy spots until now as I'm looking at it. the puffs in the arms are more subtle than the puff in the skirt, but I love the look of heavy robes, and it dyes great as mentioned, so I thought 1k crowns was a steal LOL
on another note I found this image

and it looks like the dunmer dress coming out is an unforunately simplified version of the art
The Thane costume was the perfect opportunity for an armor costume, instead we get a lame robe

"Thane" is a noble title, not a military title. Given that most of the early costumes (Armor knights, Ordinators, half the hero costumes, Nedic armors, various scout packs) were armor a round of casual clothing for rpers is pretty viable/welcome.
