I don't think removing those motifs is a loss, they are really cheap in guild stores now. They don't remove things every month so I think the amount isn't unusual.

That's true about the motifs. Not only are they cheap, but they are super easy to find during questing. It would be nice if they were being replaced by other motifs though. There are some motifs that I may never find in game other than guild stores.

I almost never see people wearing the Desert Garden Gala overdress, even though it's very elaborate and beautiful, takes dyes well, etc. I wonder if it gets slept on because so many people still don't know there's a hide helmet option?

Meanwhile the old noble dress is still the go-to for the gazillion Altmer sorceress Barbies (with the Duchess personality, ofc) seen everywhere.

I'd disagree. I like the more toned down, 'normal people' clothes as opposed to ridiculous and bombastic armor. The recent casual argonian outfits were a huge boon to me, now I have something that looks nice on all my toons. Not overly skimpy (which just looks comical on argonians) or jaw dropping, just, like, normal adventurer attire.

These are what my toons look like. DPS, Tank, Healer.

I do agree there could be more QUALITY masculine costumes though. Females always get the lions share of cosmetic choices.

Er, personal taste and tolerance levels? Subjective experience? It is a mystery. Personally, I think guars and horses are the smoothest. The other mount types actually make me a bit motion sick. The wolf mount reminds me of the bear mount, but with a different center of gravity.

For me, the issues with the Desert Gala dress are the puffy sleeves and skirt... they just baloon out in odd places. I'd overlook that at for 500 crowns, but not for 1000.

Those are good points, particularly the point about price. I personally like the "puffy," or voluminous, elements, while the warhorse noble dress bugs me because it makes the character's torso look conical. But the Desert Gala dress price is kinda "why?" On that, I have to agree.

the desert gala dress is my main's main outfit and has always been one of my favorites. I guess I never noticed the puffy spots until now as I'm looking at it. the puffs in the arms are more subtle than the puff in the skirt, but I love the look of heavy robes, and it dyes great as mentioned, so I thought 1k crowns was a steal LOL

I'm pretty happy with the showcase this month, since most of the items aren't limited. That right there makes me happy. I'm so tired of limited editions that are only available for four days. It's just so disappointing to people who cant get them in that time. I like the costumes and the wolves a lot.

If the Glenmoril Witch costume had been cheaper, I would have bought it, but I never thought it was worth that price, especially with the sandals that make it look like they'd have cold feet all the time, despite the rest of the outfit looking warmer.

I do have that lovely Desert Garden robe, though, and the Elder Council outfit. I use both of them a lot, and they both dye beautifully.

I bought the Glenmoril Witch costume immediately, and the textures of the cloth/wool are lovely, I have 2 characters using it with different dyes. For me the sandals are a bonus, I only play Khajiit so having their toes and claws poking out seems more comfy than enclosing the whole foot in a shoe/boot. Khajiit have fur anyway, so unless there's a snowstorm, sandals are fine.

Actually, I like the simplified version of the upcoming Dunmer outfit a lot more. It retains the Dunmer aesthetic I remember from the original Morrowind, but updated. The concept art version just looks kind of trashy and awkward.

Totally with you on the Desert Garden Gala overdress though- it's beautiful! 1000 crowns beautiful? Well... apparently I thought so at the time! No regrets, in any case.

"Thane" is a noble title, not a military title. Given that most of the early costumes (Armor knights, Ordinators, half the hero costumes, Nedic armors, various scout packs) were armor a round of casual clothing for rpers is pretty viable/welcome.

agreed. we've got no shortage of armor in the game, every time a new motiff comes out thats a new armor costume. Costumes SHOULD be used for stuff that wouldn't nesscarily make sense as armor

I generally like the look of the Desert Garden Gala Overdress, but the folds of the fabric make characters look like they have serious flat/pencil arm issues, to the point that it was just too much of a problem to buy. And it's a bigger shame because it's one of the few outfits that has proper sleeves that don't just get buckled down by bracers.
