What would this mean? Are AD players in Africa, DC in NA and EP in Asia, while Cyrodiil is Europe?

I cook in real life! But the recipes I make IRL only provide like level 30 benefits. Most of the max CP stuff I make in ESO, I would probably never make in real life.

Well, Hammerfell and Highrock looks like Europe so I'm as Argonian in south-east asia (I'm not from south-east asia). So Akavir must be America. Valenwood and west Colovia is Africa, Nibenay and Skyrim is Russia. This is stupid.

Well. I found some similarities among climate and culture.
High Rock and Bretons as a feudal country like the ones on Europe X-XIII century (England - France - Holy Roman Empire)
Argonian share some african culture (tribes, colectivism, tropical forest from central Africa).
Skyrim and nords featuring Setentrional Europe culture and climate (Viking legends)
Khajiit seems to have sub-saharan and mediterrean and south american traits culture and climate (nomads or small settlements, hiearchies / arid and hot climate - North Elswyer; and jungles - compare senches with SA jaguars-South Elswyer)
Akavir got inspiration from eastern asian culture - China and Japan proto-feudalism.
Redguards have Saharan way of life (and climate).
Imperials as shape of Roman Empire society.
Dumner culture has similarities with Indian society/Hinduism.
Altmer...Well, seems they have a Tolkien touch.

I live in Canada. It's basically Skyrim. I play AD, which is the southern most region of Tamriel. I wish I my IRL climate matched AD's. :(

On the last point, my girl has made several meals inspired by ESO recipes, and makes nearly perfect TES sweetrolls.

So you're saying that Black Marsh is inspired by Norway and there's a huge sandy desert in Britain?

Argonians are inspired by Mayans and Aztecs which are ancient Mexican cultures. Here's a Mayan Quetzalcoatl statue, you can see the big resemblance to several Argonian sculptures in ESO. Also take a look to Chichen Itzá pictures and you'll see the big similarities to Argonian ruins.

Argonian greatswords are Macuahuitls which are swords created by Aztecs.

What do you mean by this? :)

It would have been easier if OP cited it as the world map minus North and South America. Where the Daggerfall Covenant is situated on the map corresponds with its theme of medieval Europe, where the Pact is situated on the map corresponds with its theme of dynastic China and parts of Northeastern Russia, and where the Dominion is situated on the map corresponds with its theme of tribal nations (for that time in the world) and vast rainforests blah blah blah. Maybe some Island nations you know what I'm saying.

It seems the map of Tamriel and all of the provinces on it are really modeled after the Old World.
And so, Akatosh revealed himself to a young Gaben, and granted him purpose.
"Grant them Steam sales," he commanded.
    And obey, he did.

Kind of.... although I guess AD is mostly in Africa rather than Australia. Assuming High Rock as europe... you know what it doesn't make any sense anyway, since cryodil is Italy...????. your question makes no sene.

Although if you asked me what map is most like Australia I'd actually say Bangkorai. The sort of rocky seemingly both dry but with plenty of water that the high rock side has. Mixed with the breton archtecture that doesn't quite seem to fit the landscape like english archtecture in australia. Then you go over a mountain range and you are in a desert... seems to fit Australia quite well. So in that case no, I guess not.

Reapers march definately feels much more African than Australian despite the similar climate to bangkorai.
