100% NO. (EDIT : CLEARLY I HAVE BADGER THUMBS I MEANT OTHER)

Like we need more cheese gear for PvP...
Depends on whether or not multipliers are fixed or not, whether Oblivion damage is affected or not...
Even then, most likely still extremely underpowered compared to other PvP gear options.

Yes, the same thoughts here, I think - except maybe Vicios Ophidian - none of the other trial sets would be OP.

Ohhh... So you want to force them do something they're not otherwise interested in to remain competitive in PVP. Nice friend.
Ppl who eager for capture castles don't have to suffer in trials
Ppl who eager to kill only virtual characters should not be forced to pvp
Don't mix pvp and pve with gear, absolutely no
I also kinda like gearing up for different things. I feel I'm in a rolling up montage lol. PvE, PvP, Duels, Non CP etc.
Locking gear behind content people don't want to play also frustrates people
I don't think someone who loves PVP would happily spend hours upon hours grinding for gear in a trial, even if trial sets became interesting for PVP.

cant wait to mNB bomb my way through vMA!
5% isn't that much, though. Yes, 3p Minor Slayer is better than 3p Willpower/Agility, but just barely. Having the bonuses everywhere in the game isn't going to cause any issues of balance.
That having been said, I do like the flavor offered by domain-specific sets. There are PvP sets that have bonuses that apply only when fighting other players, and it makes sense to have similar PvE sets, so I see no reason to change the status quo. But there isn't going to be any sort of balance issue if the status quo is changed.
