The PvP Midyear Mayhem event has been great for me. I'm a stam DK tank, CP500, who has never PvP'ed before. I've lived without the some of the best tanking skills because I suck at PvP and was intimidated the first couple of times I tried it out. Now with this event, I finally had the push I needed to try it out. And in less than 6 hours of running with a pick up group, taking resources and keeps, I'm a Legionary with almost 200K AP and all the important Assault skills unlocked. Wow.

I got Vigor and Caltrops for a different character yesterday, and today it's NB's turn.

I think you misread the post, unless I am misreading it.
I interpret it as saying that these people, who enjoy playing PVP with a bit of honour, have taken a break to avoid long campaign entry queues and making life miserable for the mass of PVP virgins that are coming into Cyrodiil.
This brings far more respect from t he likes of me than those posters who just see the mass entry of noobs as nothing more than a scavenger hunt for AP.Australian on PS4 NA server.

I'm still a PvP noob, but I've already learned so much in the past three days and am really enjoying it. I'm afraid the PvPers might have to put up with me in Cyrodiil long after the event ends. ✭✭I unlocked all skills on all 7 characters during previous double AP week (unfortunately it was also no CP week which I hated). This time I just want to see how far I can get my highest rank character Was rank 21 after that week, now after 3 days of event is a bit past 24. I would love double AP to be permanent, cause it would make me come back to Cyrodiil until I unlock all ranks...
