WoE?

Edit: Not sure what you'll be pairing this set with but using a 5 piece Spider Cultist set is really good with Netch. The boss specific weapon drop from Fungal Grotto 2 is a sharpened lightning staff. It's far easier to farm than a Netch lightning staff. Just a suggestion

Thanks for the suggestion. How would you compare Spider Cultist vs Necropotence w/ Netch?

I'd say it's really just a matter of if you want a pet build or not. Both set ups are high damage. I've completed vMA and several vet dungeons with both. You'll get a higher magicka pool with Necro+Netch but higher spell damage with the other. I like Spider+Netch for trials since pets can be a little erratic. Spider Cultist double dips really nicely into your Wall of Elements, Destro Ultimate, and your heavy and light attacks since they'll be both lightning and destruction staff skills. So if you have a Maelstrom lightning staff back bar and Spider front and you drop WoE you get the increased spell damage and light/heavy attack damage from the enchant, a damage boost from Netch and from Spider, and a damage boost to the light and heavy attacks from Netch and Spider all just by using one skill. Pretty sweet. You just want to make sure your bars are set up to fully utilize lightning

This is a great idea thanks. I actually don't like pets much. Here's a Pro/Con I see with Netch + Spider setup, correct me if I'm wrong:
Pro:
- Simpler mechanics (no pet) and rotations by focusing on Destro skills which are typically used heavily anyway.
Con:
- Non-destro skills suffer a bit. Notably Lightning Splash, Mage's Fury and Shard.
