Do you really want that badly drawn wreath?
I mean, isn't its clear that ZOS treats pvp crowd like sub-humans? Just look at these bugs surrounding Cyrodiil.
They still balance classes only around pvp though. Makes you wonder...
The example I will use to make my point is DC universe Online. I played it for years. The game has more DLCs than this game will ever have. Its sub based for the most part yet everyone of its seasonals were base game so everyone could enjoy it. Its just good business.

Sub based for the most part?

DCUO was pretty close to a p2w game though.

Pretty sure you have just jumped to conclusions regarding my income. I can well afford the expansion, I have chosen not to purchase it due to the fact that battle grounds are broken and the DLC shouldn't have beem released in its state. Any smart consumer refuses to buy a broken product. Im voting with my wallet and basing my opinions on how every other mmo bases their seasonal events. Not the huge cash grab eso is.What I don't get is why the OP of the post is whine about thing lock in Morrowind honest do people still think that should get the chapter "expansion" for free???
It is like telling any MMO Game Company out there that should give out expansion for free.
News flash if they don't take out money for the chapter "expansion" then we can't play ESO for much longer and yes a chapter is an "expansion"
Honest OP if have pay for DLC and the chapter that is your lost and I sorry you don't have money for but honestly don't go to forum whine that ZoS do this for all Game Company both in MMO and single game do this nowdays it is not so unique that you make to sound like and ZoS is not big bad company that only sucks money from us like other MMO Company do.

Seriously though, I hope that doesn't happen. They better than this... right?
FINALLY SOMEBODY GETS IT!
DLC specific cosmetics are one thing.

I think most everyone gets it just fine. They just can't summon enough outrage over missing out on a hat.
In my opinion seasonal events should be for everyone. You shouldn't have to buy a "chapter" to get all achievements. Basically I now have to buy morrowind in order to get this.
Pretty crappy way to market DLCs sorry..."chapters" in my opinion.
It's a fuss over nothing, base game was £30 two years ago and another £30 now if you want to do the latest stuff. I know not everyone is loaded, but come on.
And if your budget doesn't permit it, well you just have to accept that the odd achievement you won't get.
ZOS are here to make money, and it's good for the game that they do.
Also, Orsinium, and Imp City events were the same FYI.
IC needed district flags to give the PvP there some structure. But not in the way they were implemented, as that somehow negatively affected the free-for-all that was already there. District control should have been introduced to provide incentives and benefits for holding a district, drawbacks for losing a district, but without impacting on what people were already doing. One flag per district was the worst way to introduce it, but I don't actually see how that ruined what was already happening in IC. Surely if you're not interested in district control, you could just carry on with what you were doing before?I was in IC today in Vivec. It was a ghost town. I used to love IC. They ruined it with the district flags. On ps4 NA the arena was epic. There was no need for battle grounds since it was one. Best place to test out a new build and great place for pvers to grind vigor without playing horse simulator.

Doesn't want to pay for expansions, wants content limited for people who do. OP, is it ok if I use crafted sets you don't have access to because they are from those zones?
For the record I plan on buying morrowind when they fix all the bugs with battlegrounds. I have a hard time paying for a broken product. So should every smart consumer.
Am I missing something here?
If one does not 'buy' access to IC and/or Battle Grounds then they are not doing these activities 'today'. The crown is not granted by this event (only a title is). The mention of the crown was a plug to go into the Crown Store and buy them.
The only thing not obtainable is the achievement. People that have chosen to not obtain the extended areas of the game have already decided to opt out of gaining any achievements relative to those areas.
OMG, I give up.Am I talking martian or an unknown language? What is complicated to understand in my point of view?

More like "I don't have anything left to counter your arguments with and am too stubborn to understand any other point of view (oh, the irony), so I just give up on actually discussing and just start spewing virtual diarrhea"
I think that sums it up quite nicely. Have a nice day.
