✭✭I never bought any crates before, but it doesn't mean I never wanted any items from them. So I subbed specially for those crates right after event started...
I only really wanted Resplendent Sweetroll to convert it to 400 gems and save them, but no luck 
Also wanted 5 consumable items from legendary section so each would get me 33 gems... Or at least Dro M'athra senche - no luck too. I haven't got what I wanted, except some gems.
But I can't complain cause for price of 1 month of sub from 5 crates I got: two pets (nice looking dog and funny nix hound), mount (my first wolf which has very nice fur pattern - but still awful running and walking animations), hat, Nedic heavy costume (which turned out very nice when colored).
I use stripped wolf for now just to look at that beautiful fur, but how I hate wolf riding animations! Soon I'll go back to black lion, and wolf will gather dust at my house... If only I could trade it for glowing senche mount :'(
Although rng could be much better, but it could also be much worse. And I was so excited after legendary drops that I almost confirmed purchase of medium crate pack, luckily I could stop. Then I was thinking few hours, and gave up - carefully bought 1 crate which could contain glowing mount, legendary motif or exp scroll for 33 gems, or maybe sweetroll SO MANY POSSIBILITIES! Got Almalexia robe - urge to buy more crates died, cause it hurts when you know that crate was not free
