now with Warden and the changes since Morrowind, what you think is the best class to soloing high end content? Public Normal Vet Dungeons, World Bosses....

im Suprised noone is saying StamDK...... those things can Tank 10+ people im sure some lame bosses wont stop those....

They hit like a wet noodle though. When soloing there's nothing worse than standing there attempting to kill something for 20mins when it can be done on other classes in a fraction of the time. Well, that's my issue with those unkillable stamDK's

Mag sorc can solo things that are impossible to solo on other classes because of their pets.

I've found stamwarden /w bow to be increasingly effective. Endless hail + subterrenean assault + arrow spray/ bombard clears trash in seconds and everything else shortly thereafter. Add caltrops to the mix and well...it's boring but effective. Plus with green lotus active you're healing all the while too, though warden has access to more passive heals than that if you want to run it. It's a pretty good all-round class as is.

I never understood this. How does Dark Flare spell do so much damage? I have a Templar and I haven't tried it yet, but I looked at the tooltip and I couldn't figure it out.

Everyone solo's Molag Bal since it's a solo instance.

I did it once at level 12 on my magblade with no armor, no skills and no CP.

its magplar- mag nb and stam sorc.

those three classes can solo vet dungeons, do maelstrom easily-(though magplar dosent have mobility and burst - so puts up lower scores) but those three u can do anything in the game - alone.

the reason being they have the ability to do damage and heal at the same time- which is a big advantage. u dont need to bar swap heal then come back- and attack- u heal AS you do damage- makes the game much much easier. of course other classes do that too in their own way- but these three do it best. mag sorc is also right up there- but perhaps harder to play for a newer player. u gotta weave, keep shields up constantly- not like pressing jabs and u ll be sweet.

overall though- magplar is the most well rounded. a magplar can literally quee up in dungeon finder- with a sword and board and a resto staff- and tick healer, tank and dps- and fulfil those any of those 3 roles with the same build satisfactorily.. dont think any class can do that .

mind u - i also happen to think its the most *** boring class in the game too. no diverse skills- way too easy to heal - one button to full health- and lame animations that look like a decathlete exercising = throwing a shot put and javelin, etc. i ve got 2 of every class- play all of them- but magplar is the one i play the least. right now I'm enjoying mag nb- u can go tow to toe or sneak thru cyrodil and get shards alone, do high aoe, smash vma, its a lot of fun- though challenging so more of a vet class id say. so i do recommend that too. just my opinion- no need to get salty magplars.

Huh? I'm leveling a StamDK right now. Ardent Flame spec. I'm honestly two-shotting everything. Not exaggerating. Is there something I'm not aware of?

I think a lot of people underestimate stam DKs. Sure, they don't do the best dps, but they can be a very formidable force since they can survive for a long time and still dish out damage while doing so.

The easiest is probably magplar.

The one able to do the most content overall/solo the most group content bits is magsorc. There isn't really a debate on that, the class allows you to bypass a few anti-solo mechanics.

Solo content is so easy that any class can do it.

If you want to solo group dungeons, you have shields for that. Harness magicka is available to every magicka class and it lets you solo all content in the game that doesn't have a group mechanic.

Magsorc, with pets. Anything that can possibly be soloed, you can solo with that build.
