Can't you just make do with some random crafted gear?
Perhaps with some willpower/agility rings.
Seriously though we need jewerly crafting.
Or a way to improve jewelry at least. My stam character still running around with two purple VO rings and one gold neck lol. Not grinding any more vet trial ever. Impossible to find a group after 11:00 pm and vet trial guilds are like a weird school yard social ladder.
Players: can we at least get BoE trial gear?
ZOS: lololol no. We require you to have friends...even though the game literally requires you to sit at a screen by yourself to play...
Players: ok. Thank you sir may I have another?

Ps to stop the trolls...I have beaten vma multiple times on a stamblade and no I don't care that someone could just buy or sell my gear I worked so hard at getting. Seriously...I do not care.

No.
They will still be nubs.
Just because you have good armor it doesnt mean you will actually become a good player.

How does having so many BoP sets benefit anybody? Do you really imagine Oblivion's Edge, Medusa or Lamia's Song are any better than Necropotence, Sun or Black Rose, which you can already buy cheap from guild traders?
If anything the current system punishes hardcore PVE players more than others, as you guys run those dungeons so many times trying to get sharpened weapon, end up with mostly subpar set items and can't even sell whatever stuff you do find.
@Slack, same, for the most part. The problem changes from one of RNG to one of storage.Well whenever I get a piece, I consider to potentially be decent at some point, I store it.
Got all the ebon, netch or BSW accessories this way, without having to farm. Only by pledges and random dungeons.
ESO is already way less restrictive in terms of gear making it bound to your account, compared to other games, where everything is BOP-characterbound
@Smasherx74 ...please... I've deconned a sharpened inferno staff because I had no space for it!Smasherx74 wrote: »I've deconned a sharpened inferno staff because I had no use for it.
@boobafinno , hope that writ works like a hitman's contract - "until the job is done?" Because you may get 4x the odds, but it's still far from guaranteed success. And how is this really any different than being able to purchase from a guild trader, aside from the time involved?boobafinno wrote: »You can hire 2-3 players for gold to go with u in any dungeons and they'll drop sets what u need. But i agree with original post.
@EstelioVeleth , spoken like a n00b. @IcyDeadPeople has it right - it's nothing more than a timesink, both with the grind and the inventory management hell associated. It doesn't add quality of life to the game at all.IcyDeadPeople wrote: »EstelioVeleth wrote: »Lol at the people complaining that because of this nubs will just buy the armor they need and be OP.

@Vapirko how long did it take to fill 240 bank slots the first time? What makes you think it takes any less long to fill the doubled other half?Well I believe the reason for it is twofold. 1) we all know it makes forces you
to play a lot 2) it makes you store all those maybe useful pieces and sets which in turn makes eso+ look very attractive and is also a gold sink for extra bank space. Does it suck? Absolutely. Should things be boe always? Idk. But there should definitely at least be some process which makes them unbound. I think this would then of course drive the price up. So say I've done 20 runs of blackhearts haven and have everything I need except for the necklace. Well then I might be like screw it, I'll spend 100k on a purple necklace someone has gone through the process of unbinding. And that way ZOS could keep players coming back for the grind, but we could also have some hope and a break. So yes i think it should be done in some way where pieces would still be rare and worth a decent amount, but at he same time a piece or two would be attainable via purchase without costing millions.
