They aren't hidden, they are in fact in the announcement. That being said, I'm extremely disappointed with this. I have every senche mount and pet but I will not throw down any more money without a guarantee of being able to get the ebon senche.

As a reminder, they did not want to do Gems. Gems were introduced because the community was upset, at the time. It was only a matter of time before they did something that nerfed Gems.

I'm wondering how many people they actually expect to try for these special mounts, to make this play worth the bad karma. I have no problem putting down big chunks of money on this game, but even I balk at just how much it would take to have any sort of chance of winning a specific rare mount out of an RNG box. That's, like, "vacation in Paris" amounts of money. No, ZOS. Just no. This whale is not interested in your blatant whale-bait.

Someone needs to tell upper management--or whoever is making these decisions--that player goodwill is KEY to keeping people playing and paying, and cash grabs this absurd are going to test even the most loyal and forgiving of players.

The ones in the announcement are NOT the ones I'm talking about, those are just the regular Dwarven horse and senche. For whatever reason those are featured makes no sense to me. Maybe they are just showcasing what the Dwarven mounts look like.

No im not talking about the ones purchased with gems, the ones you can't purchase with Gems are listed. They are there if you scroll down and look.

I'm surprised, to be honest. The system in place was already the least consumer-friendly I've saw in a non-f2p game. I had no idea they could make it any worse.

Yes, the crates are only getting worse. I've hated them since they were announced. The very first season I bought a 15 pack and it only disgusted me further.

The fact they tried to initially sell these as a "way to get previous crown store items" is also disgusting. The (large) majority of items in these crates are not past items. Initially it sounded like if you were an avid crown store purchaser (I am) you would do well. No, you don't.

These are getting more predatory and disgusting as they go. I'm not even sure why I'm surprised. I'm almost sure at some point they'll release home exclusive to crates, heck maybe even crown crate exclusive motifs that cannot be purchased for gems. This sounds like a stretch now, but it probably honestly isn't. I'll probably still be surprised when those things happen, even though I shouldn't.

I loved sub-to-play. It was best for me. Buy to play with crown store? Sure. Little annoyed at first but I could make informed decisions on what I purchased with my hard-earned money.

RNG loot boxes are too far.

With these mounts not being available for gems I'm even seeing people who enjoyed and purchased crown crates start to turn sour about them - as they should.

The more items they put behind a gambling wall, the less I purchase from the regular crown store. I also don't purchase crates. So it's just straight up less money for me.

To some folks, you get more enjoyment about having an awesome mount/pet/costume and looking just right as you adventure than any type of max level or BiS gear. Everyone is getting stuck on the word hidden. OP could have worded better sure. But the problem is this stuff is only available via the RNG drops and not via gems.
