@FearlessOne_2014 They already have this. You can waltz through the door of any group dungeon or trial you like.FearlessOne_2014 wrote: »I would love for a feature like this. Then I can solo even more. While we are at it. Why not make group dungeons have a solo mode, Trials as well for that matter?
I add my voice to people wishing a solo mode/switch. If it's not difficult to implement technically then why not? It adds value to the game and adds immersion for those who seek it. Pete Hines himself plays the game solo according to one of his past tweets.
I still want to be online while playing in solo mode, and I still want to be able to contact a friend in case both of us wanted to play together.
If ESO is really unlike all other MMOs as they proudly claim then it shouldn't stick to how other MMOs are played, and the 34% ratio in this poll is not insignificant. They will add a big value to the game and more players if they really implement something like this.

In a well-designed MMO, you should actually be glad to see other players around you, because they will help you earn better stuff, finish difficult events and kill strong enemies. In short, other players should be an asset, something that enhances your gameplay.

Why the hell would you even want that, the game is boring as hell without others.letsdothedungeonslow wrote: »My only wish is that Cyrodil was divided into two instances = one full of war and one with more PvE content to explore (it's pretty empty, really) and without PvP. Now read your comment again from a PVP perspective looking at Undaunted. People nowadays...

My first impression of Morrowind has been mostly highly positive, being able to revisit the land of the first TES game I played. That nostalgia hit is powerful! But then I see a bunch of other players doing something silly like crowding around Vivec spamming spells heavy on particle effects. Or something as simple as trying to play the intro quest in the ancestral tomb where the NPC is telling me it's just him and myself in there, but... man, it's swarming with other players and the game just wants me to pretend they aren't really here? It's a shame that my biggest problem with this game always ends up being the other players breaking my immersion, and the game refusing to make all quests solo adventures even though they're written to suggest they are.
I keep thinking the easiest solution to this would simply be an optional phase toggle. When you want some alone time, for questing or whatever, you could switch into a solo phase for the entire game. This already happens for many of the main quest dungeons and locations, so we know the tech is there. It probably still wouldn't solve issues like dungeons constantly respawning enemies before you've even left, but at least this could be a step in the right direction. Whenever you reach a public dungeon, world boss, or dolmen, you could simply toggle back to the normal shared world if you wanted help with the content.
Would anyone else like this option, or am I just getting too old and bitter?I'm interested to see where most player's opinions fall on this matter.
