Would you like the option to toggle into your own solo phase for the entire game, to play it as a single player adventure while questing?
My first impression of Morrowind has been mostly highly positive, being able to revisit the land of the first TES game I played. That nostalgia hit is
powerful! But then I see a bunch of other players doing something silly like crowding around Vivec spamming spells heavy on particle effects. Or something as simple as trying to play the intro quest in the ancestral tomb where the NPC is telling me it's just him and myself in there, but... man, it's
swarming with other players and the game just wants me to pretend they aren't really here? It's a shame that my biggest problem with this game always ends up being the other players breaking my immersion, and the game refusing to make all quests solo adventures even though they're written to suggest they are.
I keep thinking the easiest solution to this would simply be an optional phase toggle. When you want some alone time, for questing or whatever, you could switch into a solo phase for the entire game. This already happens for many of the main quest dungeons and locations, so we know the tech is there. It probably still wouldn't solve issues like dungeons constantly respawning enemies before you've even left, but at least this could be a step in the right direction. Whenever you reach a public dungeon, world boss, or dolmen, you could simply toggle back to the normal shared world if you wanted help with the content.
Would anyone else like this option, or am I just getting too old and bitter?

I'm interested to see where most player's opinions fall on this matter.

Yes, I would like the option to play in a Solo Phase
No, I don't think anyone should be allowed a Solo Phase
Meh, I wouldn't use it but I wouldn't care if others did
