ZOS needs to bring in somebody who can actually get thier grouping tool to work. They have struggled with it for far too long, and it is clear that thier current staff isn't capable of getting the job done.

I feel like there's a -perception- that it doesn't work because it's so opaque.
There have been days where I wait for hours, or there are days like this weekend where I only waited ten minutes (on DPS) for multiple runs.
If they would just implement a feature that showed you how many Tank, Healer, DPS currently queued in front of you, folks would be able to see that the reason they can't get a group is that there are 600 DPS in the queue, 15 Healers, and 0 Tanks.
The finder can't build groups without the right pieces.

I agree. But then I have stories like this.
My gf and I queue up as dps. After a bit we pop. In we go to a dungeon with a tank and a healer. Healer drops right away. We requeue. 30 minutes later we are still waiting for a healer. I know healers are hard to come by! But wait! At around 45 minutes or so we get a replacement healer! And the first thing he says to us? Wow! Must be really short on tanks Ive been in the queue for over an hour. I was about to log off.
I mean I get it. Yes there can be cases where you end up waiting because dumb luck. But then Ive seen to many cases with odd things like above, where it isn't all just missing part of the trinity. Everyone was there. The finder just couldn't put the parts together for some reason.

No, it has been broken for all, for some weird reason also pre formed 4 man groups.I am always wondering if the LFG tool is "not working" because it is broken, or it is only not working for DDs, as everyone quees as a DD

It's not that either.
Human behavior as it works.....people have habits adverse to a system like this and then some platforms have better work arounds outside of the game.
Essentially as I've wrote in another post.
Developers need to design platform specific opportunities when ch align to those native Vr features.
If that's too much to keep up with on any ongoing basis....don't make the game for that platform.
The ZOS developers should consider ....the LFG finder for Xbox live for xbox.
For PC maybe some of the guild site apps or ....imagine this...enable add-on opportunities.
For PS4....if the social PSN doesn't have something, develop something for that community.
People will use what works and what they are familiar with but if they have a bad experience or confusing interaction early on.....they are less likely to try again. So being these different tools never work consistently for a long period of time, one of the largest issues is getting peopleto use it
