    There's a few other options.

Werewolf hide for a stam dk is sort of a sustain tool as well I guess. One set gives constant minor heroism too, not sure of the name. Not sure if you'd count these as it's Stam dk exclusive. Bloodspawn too.

    Shadow walker for stamblade.

Didn't see Engine Guardian on there either.

Black rose too (although not great anymore).

Magnus has the 8% to negate spell cost.

Aspect of mazzatun (although only when near death).

    Syrabane (magica when blocking spells)

    Desert rose (magica when blocking)

Prisoner's rags (restore magica while sprinting)

Kyne's kiss (10% chance I think to gain Stam when using bow skill)

    Marksman (Stam cost reduction)

Thank you. I did add several of these items to the list, some I feel are too dependent on certain factors in PvE content to be considered sustainable (Shadow Walker, Aspect of Mazzatun, Prisoner's).

It might be an idea to use the list command. It would make the list a lot more readable. Like this:

I would never run drain poisons in PvE. In PvP, it has the added effect of increasing your opponent's costs. But in PvE, the poisons are a lackluster option.

Running a drain-magicka or drain-stamina poison will give you 238 back every second for 5.5s every 10s. This works out to 5 ticks every 10s (the half second doesn't tick) and is the equivalent to 238 buffed regeneration (regeneration ticks once every 2s). Now, by running a drain poison, you're giving up a berserker enchant on your weapon, which is 348 SD/WD with 50% uptime (equivalent to 174 SD/WD with 100% uptime).

Running a regeneration glyph will give you 169 unbuffed regeneration. But once you factor in various sources of regeneration buffs: CP, class passives, racial passives, armor passives, vampire, etc., this will typically result, in practice, in well over 200 buffed regeneration and is often similar to what you'd get from a drain poison. As a point of reference, my Breton vampire magblade gains 270 passively buffed regeneration (not including Major Intellect from a potion) from a single 169 regeneration glyph. The opportunity cost of a regeneration glyph is 174 SD/WD on your jewelry.

So essentially, in both the poison and jewelry scenarios, you're losing an equivalent amount of SD/WD--one from the weapon enchant and the other from the jewelry enchant--to gain a roughly equivalent of sustain. The difference is that one of these methods involves managing an expensive consumable (the drain poisons compete for ingredients with spell/weapon power potions). The only time it'd make sense, really, is if you are unable to run the berserker enchant on your weapon (e.g., running dual vMA staves instead of vMA+MD or vMA+IA staves), but even then, the prohibitively high cost makes poisons a very impractical choice for resource sustain. I would never recommend them.

TL;DR: In PvE, you're almost always better off running a recovery jewelry glyph instead of a drain poison.
