✭I took a few month break a while back because of the fact that cheating and exploits were running rampant in PVP. I don't mind if the group of 12 is being hit by the 80+ of the other faction if they are not using cheats and exploits. For a while, that was what was happening. Now, I am not saying that there was not people in my own faction who were innocent, but *I* have never used any cheats or exploits. It ruins the game. And when I heard that ZOS was telling people who were banned for cheating to just make a new account, I stopped just out of frustration. It seemed that ZOS was putting the dollar over the good of the game. Fortunately, ZOS has done a great job at curbing the cheating.0 -

✭PvP is mostly laggy AF, overland PvE is mostly way too easy (i'm not interested in trials) are the main reasons for my reduced playtime.
And ofc the ever annoying group finder bug + ridiculous balance issues, that devs overnerf / overbuffs instead of finding solid midway.
For playing PvE, there's lots of games that does it better than ESO. I like GW2's PvE way more for example.
But i have to admit, ESO's PvP is one of the best of MMO'sNB enthusiastic:- Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
- Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
- Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
- Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

I reduce my time frequently because the game is an ONLINE game. I refuse to form an attachment with a game which can have the proverbial rug pulled from under it with little notice completely stopping me from playing it ever.
To that end I rotate around several games so that I should always have something to play when I feel like it.
My current list is:
* This (struggling with inventory space but no need to sub yet as dont need crowns if Morrowind isnt in store)
* Star trek online (summer event starting two days after Morrowind launch so no hurry for them to get it in crown store)
* lord of the rings Online (summer event should start shortly after ^ finishes)
* The Secret world - now relaunching as secret world:legends ( Legends launches after STO summer ship grind finishes)
* Saints Row series (Good for mindlessly killing stuff to funny narratives and still have to start Gat out of Hell.)
* The rest of the steam library (curse you Humble Bundles ^.^ )
* Maybe one or two mobile games
* The Crew or World of Warships if I fancy a change.1 -

Time to play: Approx 4 hours per week
Games to play: Conan Exiles, ESO, Battlefield 1, 7 days to die. And I play to try all Deux exes soonish again and maybe Heretic 2.

✭✭My reduced play time is directly because of that abortive Morrowind Update.
After trying it out for a month on the PTS, it's killed my desire to even log in to the Live server. I can't see it being any different on my Xbox account either.
Directly due to that Update and its horrid changes; my play time has gone from 14-28 hours per week, to just 14-28 minutes per week. Just enough time to clear my mail and handle Guild responsibilities.
And until they revert/reverse those Morrowind changes, I don't see that play time increasing in any way.
IMO, these changes are horrible, horrible punishments to players, and I refuse to support that by playing the game.

I don't really have any complaints, and I still have a good bit of content to do, but I get burned out (dailies/writs/etc) and get distracted by other games (have a big backlog on my PC and PS4, plus plenty of old games with infinite playtime like ARPGs & minecraft-likes... STO's summer event starts in a week, The Secret World f2p comes out in a few weeks, felt like trying the PS4 version of Marvel Heroes, and for some ungodly reason I patched & tried The Division again last night. All of which is distracting me from Sword Art Online:Lost Song. ) 0 -

I played WoW for 10 years (1-2 hours daily). Blizzard changes the game too fast, adding every 3 months new gear, forcing you to always farm the newly introduced gear to stay competitive. That is BS and I didn't have the time to play that much a day. So I abandoned WoW for good since it wasn't fun anymore ... it felt like a job ... and trust me, I love my job in real life.
Since 2014 I play ESO. When I finished every quest in the game and I was still VR 14, I got mad, it seemed to me like an unfinished game, so I abandoned ESO also. Then, one year ago, for a good friend, I returned to give it another chance.
ZOS added some content, the pvp is still a BIG lol compared to the pvp in wow.
The CP system gives you a little feeling of continuation. Now I'm around CP 400 since I'm not playing the game that much (even now, I troll the forums instead of playing).
I paid subscription until October and now it's still going on. I cancelled my subscription when Morrowind was introduced live, basically for the nerfs to my templar and my pet sorc.
Pointless nerfs. I wanted them to notice that I'm unhappy with the nerfs.
I only want to login in my game and feel good and relax, while questing in open space, like I used to in Skyrim and the previous titles. THIS IS WHY I PAY YOU ZOS.
When they nerf my chars after months of farming with a horrible RNG, they are making me really mad and ruin the fun for me. For good. This is why I'm here now, istead of playing. Maybe I can change something by posting this. Maybe someone will ever read this c$%p.
In conclusion, not sure if I will ever subscribe again to ESO. Now I should farm again new gear, since people in trial groups are talking bad to me when I have the pets out, like a noob who doesn't know that the pets got nerfed ... and yet I have golden gear, BiS most of it (not the weapons since I couldn't endure the vMA RNG).

✭✭Played this game obsessively for a while. Got extremely lucky on a ton of drops such that farming was a non-issue for me (dungeon sense, I still mat farm to upgrade stuff). Started doing harder content, beat some of said harder content. Got lucky with drops there as well. Also primarily used at least one crafting set so grinding was near non-existent for me.
Realized I had skipped most of the game-world and storylines, all the exploration and that jazz. Started taking my time and actually enjoying the scenery, started playing less, but enjoying myself more. Discovered these forums, liked interacting with others and getting an overview of how the game is progressing (learning new things about it too).
Now casually play the game since I don't have to grind as much, browse the forums, do other shite instead of eso in my schedule. Want to actively participate in Beta Testing content (and did via the morrowind one).
Right now I'm just interested in watching this game grow, playing PvP. I'll hop on and try to get some off-meta gear for some niche builds that I like to theorycraft, grind some mundane runes for structures for housing, as well as continue to complete more of the world quests/achievements. Still have ESO+, Mainly since I want to support the devs as I like the world they've built so far (and for the craft bag and housing buff). Not playing nearly as much as I used to, but enjoying it a hell of a lot more.0 -
