Hah! Jokes on you, OP, these people will constrew any negative opinion as non-constructive!

    It's a no-win senario!

He didn't provide a single solution or suggestion in his main post - just endless complaints and stupid questions like if they want all high levels to quit - that's NOT constructive in any way.

There people suggesting solutions all around the forums. Reporting bugs like crazy. It ain't working. Now is the wave of frustration coming. I don't think shutting down mouths will improve ESO. But this is what moderators doing right now, they remove comments, close threads, "bait" "leave thread" bla bla bla... name it the way you want, i'm currently playing the game only one hour a day when I wish to play it 8 hours a day. There's 0 support.

I SUGGEST ZOS TO FIX GROUP FINDER

I SUGGEST ZOZ TO FIX BATTLEGROUND GROUPING

I SUGGEST ZOS TO IMPROVE UNUSED SKILLS, SETS AND CP INSTEAD OF NERFING THOSE WHICH ARE WIDELY USED

    Am I constructive now?

If Mass Effect Andromeda is anything to go by (which it might not be) slamming the devs and acting enraged will only result in them caring less. People decided a wave of frustration was the best way to meet that game and now we haven't had a real patch or update in 1 months+

Btw yes, that is slightly more constructive but it's obvious you're still being passive aggressive and baiting now as well.

Frustration isn't an answer. Nobody wants to be b*tched at by their customers, it isn't motivation to improve the product.

I'm just going to say, just because a small number of people are "over-powered" doesn't mean a nerf is needed. If they are more powerful than most, well they earned their investment's boons. Those less contributed players need to put more effort in building their power and avoid implementing nerfs only to suit their current situation in their favor, while the favor of the strong is lost.

I agree with the OP that pvp and pve complaints and changes should not affect each other. Their changes need to be administered separately. It would seem both gear-wise and cp-wise, that we could only choose ONE(pvp or pvp), because what good is siphon perk for pve right.

The nerfs for the sake of the overpowered few dont work, cant work, will never work.

We've tried the carrot. Over, and over, and over, have we submitted feedback to the PTS when requested and had it ignored. Over, and over, dev cycle after dev cycle. Update after update.

So we only have two options. Screech endlessly, or impact their sales numbers enough to -force- them to lisen. I vote the latter.

PS: Swear filter bypass is a reportable offense. I wont do it, because I wont stoop to your level, but it is against the code of conduct.

And that is the whole point. Those new changes will mostly hit in your "average joe" type of players who don't min/max, just do quests, delves, play the game just to have fun. They simply don't know the game mechanics on the same level as "pros" so they might have the biggest problems adapting to sustain / resource management nerf.

Question is simple Zos you can not keep nerfing damages and expect high levels to carry all the noobs through vet dungeons. It was frustrating enough trying to do the harder vet dungeons with people under 300 cp much less crap like mazatun prison white gold etc. Now your brilliant idea of fixing the game is nerfing damages and resource management wow that is truly enlightened work. Grouping tool does not work you can not get new people after the start of a dungeon low levels que expecting to be carried. I carry anyone i can but god damn it you people are making my life in this game more difficult.

STOP TRYING TO BALANCE PVP AND PVE TOGETHER YOU CAN'T DO IT.

They nerfed sustain which did have a moderate effect on dps. The same content that has been in game has been cleared.

I am not defending Zos. While I agree some changes made were good, they were very much heavy handed and went to far.

The one thing I wish Zos would do is develop a vision for how this game should be played and where they want to bring it. It does get old when they make a change and say it is how it was their vision or how it was always intended, when it clearly has not been. As long as management keeps their current lack of management style the game will continue to progress with major overhauls every year or two, as it has so far.

    And thereby stay fresh?

How many endgame players want to continue playing "the same old, same old" year in, year out?

    Stay fresh to death :/

I would understand it more (and thanks for the carry) if there was some kind of new content they weren't able to get just right without bringing those high levels down a bit. However, more of the same isn't what I think of a new content (talking about mechanics, new skills, new guilds here not place to visit). They've just managed to add one trial total here that will go into rotation as something else the higher levels just run over and over. That is more likely to make people quit. Sheer boredom of the same thing every single time you play. I honestly don't know how you guys do it. I can barely stand to run a normal dungeon and it be something I've done before. And that's just one time. Twelve, fifteen times? Forget it.

Let's get one thing straight here: This was a patch for the elite.

ZOS does a whole song and dance about lowering the ceiling and raising the floor. And I think they genuinely intended for that to happen. But the exact opposite happened, because ZOS doesn't understand their own game and content and because ZOS is too stubborn to listen to the feedback that we've given them on the PTS.

First, extra resources have diminishing returns. Beyond a certain point, any additional sustain would not allow you do anything more than you can already do. Second, a resource-starved game will reward players who do the most with the resources that they have. That is, the players who don't make mistakes (mistakes cost resources to correct) and experienced players who have efficient tactics and strategies. So for most players, the sustain nerfs will hurt their ability to recover from mistakes, whereas for players at the top, the nerfs merely trimmed away some excess fat that they didn't need anyway.

If ZOS really wanted to close the gap, they should've buffed sustain since it would give the "floor" players more to work with while those extra resources would just go to waste for the "ceiling" players. Instead, they nerfed resources, which nerfs the "floor" disproportionally more than the "ceiling".

ZOS sets out to do one thing. And inadvertently does the exact opposite. Good job guys.

No way you can run any dungeons with randoms anymore. They wanted to make the new player experience easier, imo new and not so good players struggle even more now....

1000000% True when dealing with any MMORPG, as the game progresses it will always become harder for new players to catch up. If ZOS made the game as easy as possible for new players to catch up to old players then they wouldn't have added any content since the day it was released as every new dungeon, CP cap increase, motif, skyshard, etc makes it that much harder for a player that hasn't put a minute into the game to catch up.

I understand how the front-loading of CP and removal of CP campaigns is suppose to give new players a better chance in PVP but in the same sense this disincentivizes their reasons to continue progressing as the play time to character growth ratio will start to diminish. Looking back at previous Fallout or Elder Scrolls games I did not stop playing them when I finished all the quests, but when my character became as combat efficient as possible and I'm sure a lot of RPG fans feel the same way. Hence in my opinion I would be more motivated as a new or mildly leveled player to continue if the CP was backloaded rather than front loaded.

Seeing how the game is more PvE designed and how the team has put a lot of work into making each quest unique it really shouldn't matter how easy it is for new players as if they find it to be an interesting world they will stick with it and if they don't they will drop it regardless of how CP works.

They bold face lied about champion points just checked that out new players get absolutely no help whatsoever. The lower point uses are around half of what they used to be 13 points in mooncalf used to be 6% now it's like 3.7%.

What i am seeing in cp is easily 15% losses in damage reductions and around 20% losses in damage and no ability regens to speak of but they will expect everyone to run mazzatun imperial city prision white gold tower city of ash 2 on vet with even weaker noobs then we already have.

If one is so frustrated before he sees the update, I can only imagine what will be his reaction when he gets that sheet on a plate.

I already see him pressing 50 times "Start search" in group finder and it doesn't responds to him. And then he will join ICP or Spindl II and discover the new bugs. I see him breaking the screen at that point.

The OP's problem all began a few days ago in Cyrodil, i believe the catalyst was being one shot by a Nightblade, from then on his dissatisfaction has escalated exponentially to the point of where we are now. He believes the changes will force him to carry lowly underpowered scrubs through veteran content when infact he has not even had the Morrowind update yet, so his opinions are rather mute... Its all the Cyrodil Nightblades fault...

    Thanks @supaskrub
I was pretty sure that was OP's problem and that he was trying to match up a common complaint with his qq.
I'm also aware that things are about to change. As I feel I may be in the minority (by spending my CP's across multiple stars) I was wondering if my play style will be hit as hard by the sustain nerf.

I say this because you could already barely play them in those armors when the game decides to be an *** and target 1 player alone with everything as it does you CAN NOT survive without heavy.

That's strange, Ive been clearing vet 4 mans with randoms. Some were done HM. Must be doing the impossible.

    This is me ^^.

As someone with over 800CP, who has never completed any DLC vet dungeon, never started a vet trial, vet DSA or vet MSA, I will likely have less chance to complete them once the the changes come to console. I'll also admit that no matter which character I have taken into PVP, regardless of campaign, I will always die in a 1 on 1 fight but I guess that will continue - it just might take longer to die.

Does that mean I will stop enjoying ESO, probably not. I will still use PUGs for vet dungeons, solo or 2 man normals, still go and get slaughtered in Cyrodiil when the mood grabs me, still go fishing, do some crafting and try and make gold to buy all of the houses. Life goes on and I'll just go with the flow.
