Which map is the "ugliest" map

Surprised not many said Malabal tor, but that and Shadowfen are my least favorite, they just are too dark that it becomes hard to see.

Bangkorai is definitely my favorite; i love the bridge, love both cities, and i believe the deadric ruins in the east of the map are the most attractive in the game. I also love the houses there over all others.

Shadowfen's hideous, and worse, it's boring and uncreative. 90% of the area is the same swamp, 3 trees, and one Xanmeer model, with the same monsters.

Stormhold, Alten Corimont, and Hissmir are the only towns with any interesting architecture. The quests outside those are generally quite dull. Hatching Pools is OK but has the most generic repeated Xanmeer in the zone. White Rose Prison is OK, but the area is more swamp with a couple of generic Imperial towers. Sanguine's Demense is one of the best PDs in Tamriel, but the swamp around it is awful.

And for an area that's all water, it's surprisingly hard to find a fishing spot. Getting the foul water fish there was one of the hardest and most annoying.

Drain the swamp and put up a shopping mall.

I can't abide Shadowfen. Not keen on Grahtwood either, or Malabal Tor. Too dense, too many sheer drops, and too many very annoying Bosmer.

I hate trees, so Greenshade and Grahtwood are ugly to me.

Coldharbour is pretty much ugly, but that is expected of Molag Bal's domain. If we speak of Tamriel maps, Glenumbra is most boring one by far. Compared to some other maps, it seems like zero effort from developers. If I would have to decide worst map in every alliance, it would be Glenumbra for DC, Greenshade for AD and Shadowfen for EP. Best zones in each alliance would be Bangkorai for DC (well, Wrothgar is better but we talk about non DLC ones), Auridon for AD and Stonefalls for EP. Seems like Vvardenfell will be better than all other zones, and I am ok with that.

I dislike Reapers March. Just a boring, plain landscape that has nothing interesting or those "wow" moments as you are strolling through the map. In fact I delay playing and questing my Bosmer on that map.

The Rift is the most boring I think, but Riften itself is convenient because it has blacksmithing, clothing and woodworking stations right next to the bank so it's convenient.

Stonefalls. And anywhere with f&&king elves. Absolutely dreadful race- NOT because of their overt homosexuality but because their dress sense and overall sense of style is completely ridiculous.

Greenshade, Grahtwood, Malabal Tor.

Wayshrines are always a tad farer away to your common objectives as in other zones. Mountains blocking crossland travel. Loads of roots and trees and other stuff where your mount is able to get stuck. Most boring story line in compare to Ebonheart and Daggerfall.

Cannibal Elves and "I am better than you Elves" under an Ivanka Trump like queen.

Auridon and Reaper's March are at least "horse-friendly" and I love to pickpocket and kill those priestlike NPCs in Vulkhel Guard for finishing some Thieves Guild achievements fast.

I may add Shadowfen, because to many free Argonians there. This insults me. Dres should do something about that.

Agree. Cool zone and cool quest line. Elder Scrolls stories are at best when they describe the everlasting struggle for personal power and the risks you have to take on your way (a keynote in the whole TES universum) and when they are depressing, cruel and full of grief, loss and death. That's the reason I love Coldharbour too.

All the monotone zones in any game, ie: snow, desert maps + Cyrodil (which is aesthetically pleasing, but so empty; should have about 100000000% more NPCs going about their lives/fighting their own battles, etc to fill the vast emptiness), and Cold Harbor...which is also a monotone zone.

Coldharbour is just bad. The rocks look bad, the environment while has the feeling of cold, is not dark enough in tone and theme for the Daedric Prince Molag Bal.
The worst aspect is the water. If they got rid of the dumb glowing blue water and replaced it with dark, black blood than I would have less of a problem with it. (I know its not water)

This is the creator of Vampirism. Make his plane look like a cold hell scape. Make it Scary.

Ugliest I'd say cyrodiil. I think all the areas have their beauty and their ugly parts. Cyrodiil is boring and bland. I actually quite like coldhabour, the water is really pretty and I like the darken look a lot.

15 minutes? What, did you keep falling off the walkways and dying? The only way it takes 15 minutes is if you actually listen to everything he says. First time playing it fine. After that just sip thru his dialogue and be done in about 5 minutes.

Eastmarch. It just looks so rushed and half-ass, esp the main city that looks like a bunch of geometric primitives stacked together. Honestly, I've seen better looking forts made by players in Age of Conan.
