Coldharbour. Oh I dislike it so much. Have to leave quite a space between alts completing the main story or I just cannot do it. My DK was parked in the Hollow City for ages.

Also dislike Stonefalls. And Alik'r / southern parts of Bangkorai. Not huge fan of deserts.

(But did like the look of Falkreath as lots of lovely trees. Am going to have to force myself to play dungeons to get that house :# )

LOVE Coldharbour - want a house there, sound effects give my subwoofer a workout, and the grey tones are so calming. Really, love it.
The most bothersome would be shadowfen with all the nooks, crannies, and water. Pain to navigate.

Well this is a very open-ended question.
Some people perceive one thing to be ugly while another thinks that it's beautiful, the complete opposite of what the other deems. Coldharbour could be beautiful to some people and it's up to their interpretation to express what is what to their preferences and they're not wrong as you may already know.
In other words, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

But back to the question, I'd say Reaper's March is the ugliest as I'm not fond of those kind of landscape.

I agree with you but, it would be very boring if everyone precieved the same and this is kind of a no wrong or right answer thread.

The funny part, I think cold harbour is one of the most beautiful. I am that guy.

Ugliest zone, gonna have to go with Betnikh, feels like there should be more there and the orc stuff and styles should have been upgraded with Wrothgar dlc to some degree, lore friendly anyways.

I think the worse for me was the past of Stonefalls, was very buggy at the time and a lot of things were missing

Hate Shadowfen and love Coldharbour design. It's supposed to be "ugly" looking, but it's artistic design is among the best in the game IMO.

The odd structures, the crystal blue water.. I love Coldharbour. I can't stand places like Grahtwood and Malabal Tor though. Too many trees and stuff all over the place. It gets old fast.
Reaper's March is also incredibly boring. Basically anything in the Dominion sucks.

    I find Rivenspire extremely dull.

You've never visited Fell's Run then. I swear, if I was a RPer I would live there. It's so peaceful. Visit the local tavern, do some fishing while listening to the sound of the giant water wheel. Rivenspire may look dull at first glance, but it has some diamonds in the rough, making it a great place to explore.

For me, its Alik'r Desert, so barren and bland. Sure I thought DC was the best to play, but Alik'r wasn't very appealing to the eye for me.

Grahtwood. Nothing but giant trees and giant cliffs everywhere, blocking your way...followed by more of the same in Greenshade and Malabal Tor.

If I was hard pressed to chose one, I'd vote for Hew's Bane... not because it's awful (it's not) but because there's nothing to do there for anyone not interested in Thieves Guild (I mean, quest-wise...) and there's so little to explore and see outside of the g-awful heist missions.

I could say almost the same about Gold Coast, so I guess that one would be close second contender... but, at least, the zone is Gold Coast! I'm only sad it's missing Skingrad, though.

Exactly. That's mostly all the AD maps, I remember the majority of my guild, back in the day the game launched, hated high elf land that you had to traverse multiple hills and mountains etc just to get to a certain spot. That or jump to your death or spend plenty gold wayshrining.

Not particularly ugly but I hate that zone the most. It's pretty boring as it is all the same forest and the shortest route between 2 points is always blocked by a mountain. Countless of hours were spent looking for a route to the quest location.

totally agree, while the surroundings are beautiful, the way is blocked by tree roots, rocks, canyons etc
