Third time posting this, hopefully zeninax gives it attention.
Serious problem with proposed igneous shield change.
Currently on live igneous shield does not stack. With the proposed changes your own igneous has to be up for you to get major mending. Unless you revert proposed change or make igneous stack the following problems will occur: Im pvping with a friend, both on stam dks, I use my igneous to get major mending and immediately after mine, my friend uses his to get major mending himself. Because they don't stack, and this is how it is on live as well as pts, his shield visually takes mine off and replaces it. This would effectively mean you can LOSE your major mending if you are playing with other dks, as they can take your shield off of you with their's. The only way to prevent this would be to either REVERT the changes like everyone wants, or make igneous stack.
@Zos_GinaBruno @Wrobel @Zos_RichLambert this needs to be addressed. Asap.

TheStealthDude✭✭✭✭This is actually an interesting problem that deserves attention. While I can understand the igneous changes in terms of overall balance of major mending, you should not be put in a situation where your teamates can take away your buffs.
Perhaps they can make it so that your buff still persists as long as you have ANY igneous shield buff or until 6 seconds (whichever is shorter)?
ZOS should definitely address this.3 -

✭✭✭✭✭tying a buff to a minuscule shield uptime was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen in my history of MMOs, and I hadn't even considered this part of it. Considering I was only ever using Ig for the mending buff to begin with... wow.
This needs fixed for sure.

This seems to be what ZoS is going with, though. Look at the change to Repentance as well. They don't want multiple classes in the same group it seems xD
Seriously though, this is a HUGE problem. Players should not be punished for playing the same class as their friend.Unfortunate magicka warden main.

This change is not needed and over kill.... just the blocking nerf by itself will literally destroy the stam DK in pvp... In my opinion the shield is dead now (and so is my DK-Heal...). Zos finally managed to cripple the DK enough to kill him. Tested my DK vs a Warden template on PTS and well, guess how it turned out... Time to switch to Warden i guess *sigh*
DKs desperatly need some love ZOS. Maybe start with reverting the changes on the shield?0 -

they wanted to reduce the up time of major mending and came up with an idea that doesn't work at all.
either there is no damage incoming, which means major mending is still up for the full duration and not needed, or there is damage and major mending would be useful, but the shield and mending is gone instantly, because its too small.
they tried to come up with something fancy and failed, instead of just reducing the duration of it.1 -
