From a PvE perspective they should nerf the pets and liquid lightning rather than frags... The Familiar Damage is crazy over the top and liquid lightning is the strongest AoE cone that the game has. The Pet alone does 20%+ DPS. How would Frags compare to that at all?
Wut ? you want to see these skill nerfed just because they are unique ?
The liquid lightning is the strongest dot of course , but Dk have more dots . sorc have only one dot from class skill .
If I think like you ,they should nerf the Dk grab because it's the better grab that the game has , you see ?
if your pet does 20% of the dps ... i have only one thing to say you ... you forgot to use the other skills
Notice that sometimes there is add who come on the boss . AND as you can see , my liquide lighning only doest 2% more dps than my elemental blockade ! ( notice that this not the fire one ,the fire does 20% more damages ) !

So don't call this a 10% nerf. This is a 50% nerf on proc.
Proc chance is 30% or something, my problem is that I tend to miss it the first time doing another pulse."Our"?But crystal shard is our main damage and key ability and for how easy to avoid it is, it should hit hard.
I don't use CS in my rotation. Takes too long to proc and the 0.09% chance of an instant cast isn't worth it.
It's supposed to be a spell, not a crutch.
I don't mind if the spell is being nerfed, but a zero cast time would be helpful. Then, I'd see some value of it in my rotation.
ZoS did the right thing here. Magsorc is easy mode in PvP on live. Any of you, especially those of you who play Magsorc, don't agree with that need to change your build or L2P.
Anyways, you can look at the numbers;
My frags hit anywhere between 5k-10k depending on the players mitigation and empowered. Average would be about 7.5k.
10% of 7.5k is only a loss of 750 damage.
If you're seriously worried about losing anywhere between 500-1000 damage on frags, which is one extra light attack, you need to take a walk.
Revert the changes, otherwise tou are gonna see your game die...

The sustain nerf is a global nerf to all classes. So although a Sorcerer will have less shields potentially, an attacker will have less offense as well. It's a wash.
Dark Deal however will allow that Sorcerer to get back some magicka, while the DK/Templar/NB won't have that option.
BIG lol , same answer , " Read before writing "
Guild mage skill , some tank use it with ebon set in PVE .
Dk get back health / magicka / stam when he use an ultimate .

Hyperbole for the win! But for real I agree with the point on damage nerfs vs sustain nerfs. The problem is none of the Sorc in kit sustain passives nor actives have been nerfed. A crystal frag nerf wasn't what was needed IMHO but maybe I'm just not seeing something.
Edit: If the game does die from a balance change then I will say it's the community that made it die. Fortunately I don't think the majority people will quit a game because it plays different than it did before seeing as how there is no other MMO like this one on the market.

Wait. Did they just buff sorcs by reducing their incoming damage of a reflected Frag?
