And why would I want to anticipate ? The reason behind it is so outrageous and so Anti-Dominion. I will definately not anticipate. Why would I CELEBRATE the slaughter of my own kind and the anniversary of a wretched priestess who founded an empire that would allow 2 daedric princes to cause havoc in Tamriel.

    No thanks.

Im assuming we wont see you cheesing around in IC as usual then, shielding up and streaking away when youre outmatched? Good riddance.

Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity that will grant you double AP for two hours!

Is this a memento that can be reused multiple times like the cake and witches' brew, or a consumable scroll that can only be used once?

@Ilsabet , I can answer this one. It's an item in your inventory, but it can be used multiple times. I was concerned about this, too, and it was one of the first things I tested.

Once you’ve had a chance to participate in the event, please give us your feedback:
    • What did you think of the rewards you received?
    • Were you able to find the quest easily?
    • Did you visit the Adhazabi Aba-daro the Golden? If so, what did you think of the items listed?
    • Do you have any additional feedback?

    1. I liked the telvar stones with every box and some interesting housing decor in the form of books or style motifs.
    2. Yes it was in the crown store features when I logged in.
    3. The golden was not available when I went to Cyrodil today which is midweek.
    4. It seems underwhelming compared to the other seasonal events. Plus..I'm an elf...celebrating the slaughter of elves...not so enticing. I thought there might be quests or something like the other festival things but I did not see any it's just that all things in Cyrodil give the reward boxes so I guess that is ok. People arent in Cyrodil to do quests anyway.

Sweet. Upon reflection they probably made it something other than a memento so that people can actually use it in Cyrodiil.

So the Dominion doesn't support killing DunMER and OrsiMER? That's some fresh new lore.

Well, they do not celebrate it. Also "Mer" does not mean "Elf" so that's not even a thing. Mer simply means "people"
This festival celebrates the slaughter of Ayleids, elves (not mer) and in my opinion. Orsimer are not elves at all and Dunmer are just impure look alikes. I personally like Orsimer, I pity them somehow  Trinimac was such an incredibly big one, one of the biggest gods of all time and I still refuse to believe the Trinimac-Malacath thing. Trinimac stille exists for me and many other Altmer as well.

You are right that "Mer" means "The People", but, sorry to tell you that ALL "Mer" are Elf in lineage as all of the 11 off shoot races of "Mer" started as "Aldmer". Even Bretons are refered to as "Man-Mer" as they are half Alyeid.

Am not familiar with this "Massacre" and the holiday conected to it. Will research it. Hope it is a actual lore event.

I still wish that you got a snarky response to give back to the sermonizer if you were an elf. like a bosmer could threaten to eat the hostages if she kept it up or something. Because really lineage or not the people hosting the event don't see the distinction why should an elf race toon.

Adhazabi Aba-daro the Golden is not present at the South Morrowind gate. Is she sticking to her weekends only schedule or is she supposed to be present every day for the duration of the event?

Adhazabi’s schedule is not changing for the event; only her wares are. She’ll show up at her usual time Friday evening, both on PTS and when the event goes live.

@MSchroeder, @ZOS_GinaBruno Does this also apply to her in Blackwater Blade since the RftW sets are not gated behind CP level content? Will those who play there be able to receive golden VD/Marksman/Fasalla/Transmutation jewels below CP160?

Were you able to find the quest easily?
    - Yes, no problem finding NPC

Did you visit the Adhazabi Aba-daro the Golden? If so, what did you think of the items listed?
    - Its a great occassion to complete some valuable sets that come from Rewards of the Worthy

Do you have any additional feedback? What did you think of the rewards you received?
    - Most of the rewards in this event are completely out of place. This is a PVP event so the rewards should be 100% related only and only to PVP

    - Tel Var stones, Siege Repair Kits, Soul Gems, Coldharbour siege weapons, Forward Camps are OK - what is missing are Wall and Wood repair kits.

    - Adding alchemy materials is questionable, sure potions and poisons are used in PVP but are not essential part of PVP combat (players skill is). This in my opinion should be replaced with pre-made potions/poisons for PVP.

    - The rewards that are out of place and in my opinion should be excluded from this events are all the motifs and style items. Motif chapters and books have no practical value in PVP and they have no place in being placed in PVP-centric event. Same applies to Prismatic Runestone. It has virtually no use in PVP and should not be placed in rewards coming from PVP-centric event.

    - Last but not least, this should apply to this event and all future events: PVP should not be mixed with PVE. PVP related rewards (siege kits, forward camps, wall/wood repair kits) should not be placed in PVE-centric events and other way around, PVE related items (motif chapters and books or crafting materials) should not be added in PVP-centric events as it looks as an attempt to force one group of players to participate in activity they do not enjoy at all.

What game do you play where potions and poisons are no essential part of PvP? Any competitive player is drinking crafted potions on cool down in PvP combat for resources, CC Immunity, Buffs and Detection. One hundred tripots/anti stun pots per evening are a cheap Tuesday on my group healer. Poisons are extremely powerful and will be even more powerful when Morrowind goes live.

Motifs and chapters are what casual PvP Players and PvE Players without hatred towards Cyrodiil look for, so it's supercool to pull them to Cyro with these motifs.
Prismatic enchants are mandatory in a lot of PvP Builds and will be so even more with Morrowind reducing the incentive to go heavy and stack resources instead of damage and regen.

Here's first part of my feedback:
I would like to add that blocking CP in certain campaign doesnt really help much if you dont block gear which requires certain amount of CP.

On top of that all players get pretty much the same pvp buff no matter what items they wear, which is not how balanced boolstering should work.

Either disable any gear which requires CP or give players additional dmg reduction when they're wearing worse items. This wont solve everything, because dmg gives more options than dmg reduction, but it will make pvp less annoying for new players who are just 1-2 shot material.

Adjust the HP value of destroyable castle parts to be equal to 2x of the difference between number of players in 2 most populated allies and the lowest populated ally. This means that when let say in DC there's 100 players, in EP 80 but in AD only 20 players, HP of AD buildings will increase by 280% (since difference between DC and AD is 80 and between EP and AD 60 which gives together 140 and then x2 = +280% HP).

In this example AD will still lose, because with such a big difference of players you can take objectives very fast anyway, but it will make pvp feel less facerolling. On top of that, it will discourage players from ally hopping so often, which means loging on character that has the strongest force on the map. Players will give up less, knowing that despite being heavily outnumbered they can still last some time behind the walls that have higher HP value.

If castles are falling down in seconds to enemy zerg, there's 0 reason to even try defending, because your walls/gates will fall before you get on the walls to place your balista.

That's whyI added second part where alchemy materials are replaced by assortment of pre-made potions, for example "alliance battle draught", "alliance spell draught" and other potions specifically made for this occasion.

Honestly in my opinion people miss the whole purpose of these events.

They try to cash in as much as possible on them and will always ask for most expensive stuff to be given as rewards from event boxes just to make as much gold as possible basically turning that even into a chore because if you do no participate in this event you are losing out big time on gold.

In my opinion these events should be something fun, something players dont feel forced to participate in and they will genuinely enjoy in seamless way. The rewards from event should be nice and useful but they shouldn't have large impact on game economy - and injecting full akaviri books and most expensive runestones sure does that.

That's why, as much as it is possible, raw materials should be replaced with ready products (alchemy reagents -> pre-made alliance potions) and possibly rewards should be BOP with exception of collectible stuff like hats/costiumes in form of runeboxes.

Also, about Tel Var stones being added as part of reward - i believe its against the whole spirit of Imperial city and Tel Var stones should be removed from this event. Here is why:
Back when Imperial City was released PVP players glorified it as "PvPvE" experience with strong emphasis on "Risk VS Reward" when it comes to earning Tel Vars - handing them out just like that, in overworld cyrodiil for possibly zerging keeps is against the spirit of Imperial City and so much appreciated by PVP players "Risk VS Reward" system associated with TV stones.

The AP pots are terrible compared to crafted pots for many builds. They offer nothing useful or unique, unlike some of the TG pots. Just give us the flowers and let us make our own custom pots that compliment our spec. I daresay I'll still use up the flowers faster than they hand them out. I'd probably just vendor trash alliance potions, because potions are that important and the AP pots are that bad (for me).

And yes, I use Prismatics. It's a way to eek out some vital stamina without giving up too much on magicka builds.

I get where you are coming from regarding the economy, but I think you are overreacting. By that logic, we should not have events at all. Akavari motif pages have come way down in price from the Anniversary boxes already, and given how long the Akavari motif has been out, perhaps it's time. Hakeijos are not that expensive because TV is so easily farmed. Have you seen the price of Mudcrab Chitin what with the mudcrab farming bots? That's a lot more harmful than Columbine temporarily dipping in price by 10g.

This is the first event I'm actually interested in, because it will compliment what I do already. You may feel obligated to participate to get titles and mementos or make gold, but I don't.

For the duration of the event, Adhazabi Aba-daro the Golden will also offer gold-quality jewelry in each of the Rewards for the Worthy item sets, in exchange for AP only (not sold for gold.)

She's only selling necklaces this weekend. No rings are available. Plus there are no monster sets available. Are both of these intentional?

really appreciate the potion/poison discussion...just finally leveled alchemy...still need to work up the medicinal use passive on all my characters...man, just leveling and making an initial batch of pots and poisons burned a bunch of my inventory...

whomever mentioned it earlier had the truth of it - the disparity between what some players have access to: crafting, and, what other other players have access to: siege merchant swill is way too dang much...

to me, stuff like that should be more leveled out...

to be fair, you can also shop at guild stores for some of the better pots and poisons...

I don't really think coin access should be relevant to competition in pvp (so sez the guy who spends 200k plus a month on gear for pvping :#)...

pvp is real dependant on new players...you really do need to do all you can to try to keep it a pretty level playing field...they do that with gear - put enough time in - you can reasonably expect your gear to be competitive...

the discrepancy between what you can purchase from the siege merchant, and what you can craft is way too large...

the siege merchants really should sell resource poisons (1 resource), and immovable pots...

    gotta keep it fair...

you can go out adventuring on your own all over tamriel...personally, eso wise - nothing worse than a dead map...

Or you can just get huge amounts of ingredients from the newly introduced alchemy satchels for some hours of roaming the imperial city.

Crafted potions should always be better than whatever you buy at vendors, just because the time and effort or gold or social dependencies in maintaining a constant potion flow for your PvP group is one aspect of the game itself.

And I expect you didn't do much PvP if you think Cyrodiil could ever be an even playing field for new vs. veteran players. PvP is greatly based on experience, knowledge, talent and training. New players are at a huge disadvantage compared to established groups or long term solo players. That's why so many people hate PvP - if you have not mastered your class and have extensive knowledge of ALL other classes, abilities, item sets and game mechanics you will be at a huge disadvantage.

That's the ultimate reason for excessive zerging btw. Because inexperienced people just bring massive numbers to even the odds, forcing the organized groups to grow bigger forcing the randoms to bring even more people and so on and so on.

i went to the mayhem event and found everything quite easily. and the xp buff is a bonus to anyone that really does not pvp and makes them want to go to cyrodiil and level their alts. last time this extra xp bonus went on all campaigns were locked up due to to many players,,,can you increase the amount of players per campaign? the redunant rewards should be tradable to the merchants for something you don't have though.

I did think it was a bit odd that people who gleefully celebrate the murder of elves threw themselves on the mercy of the mostly-elven Dominion. Guess Queen Ayrenn's reputation for being open-minded precedes her?

I haven't done anything except the intro quest, but I do have some feedback on that:

PLEASE give the dialog for this another pass. All the NPCs chirping, "...and double your rewards!" at me is incredibly corny. Maybe something a little less blatant? "Receive the blessing of Pelinal for it will bring you greater fortune and glory!"?

It takes ~20 minutes to level up alchemy to 50, and everyone has access to the same flowers that grow all over non-pvp zones. There is zero access issue here, and the only L2P issue is reading the Medicinal Use passive tooltip and grasping how that might be a good thing. There are even add-ons that will pop up and tell you your potion is off cooldown.

Compared to obscure issues of mechanics... potions are just not an issue for new players.

I opened 500 boxes and this is the result:
    • (42.0%) 210 Keep Wall Masonry Repair Kit
    • (21.8%) 109 Siege Repair Kit
    • (19.6%) 98 Keep Door Woodwork Repair Kit
    • (15.8%) 79 Ancient Scale (raw material to refine into Goldscale)
    • (7.8%) 39 Forward Camps
    • (6.0%) 30 Song of Pelinal furnishing books
    • (3.2%) 16 Cold Fire Ballista
    • (3.4%) 17 Cold Stone Trebuchet
    • (2.4%) 12 Cold Fire Trebuchet
    • (2.4%) 12 Alliance PvP Style Motif pages (only my character's Alliance, which was Covenant)
    • (2.2%) 11 Hakeijo runes
    • (0.6%) 3 Akaviri Motif pages (Chests, Staves, Axes)
Did not track alchemy ingredients but received one stack of three ingredients in almost every box (3 Mountain Flower, 3 Imp Stool, etc). I don't PVP so others will have to say if these drop rates are any good. What it does tell me is that as a PVE'r I'm super not motivated to do anything PVP-related for a 0.6% shot at Akaviri motif drops.

*Edited - forgot to list the Hakeijo runes as well. Still not suuuuper motivated for PVP. :)

If their goal is to encourage (not force, as others have claimed) more players to try out PvP, then they should offer more items that will appeal to PvE players. The Akaviri motif pages are good, but not a big enough carrot.

Took the quest item from the crown shop, when I move the mouse cursor over the line of the dialog, an error is displayed:

FINALLY a change to rewards for the worthy.

REWARDS FOR THE WORTHY should be changed for when this event ends. As it stands, almost everything that comes in these mails is redundant, and the market is so over saturated that almost all of these pieces sell for 1000-2000g in traders, in the BEST traits. Have it provide alchemy reagents, coldfire siege, motifs, forward camps, or anything that isn't the useless sets that come from it currently. The only items from RFTW that are worth something are sharp willpower swords, sharp VD staffs/swords, and purple robust agility or willpower rings (all of which are more readily available from keyfrag vaults in IC).

As for the event, it looks great and I'm excited to see PvP get spiced up a bit with another event. The double AP factor will certainly draw people to cyrodill for both the ranks and the AP itself. The golden change will be VERY refreshing and will give people a good chance to purchase sets they've been wanting for a while. Just make sure they cost the equivalent of what gold jewelry costs currently from the golden, OR MORE.

@ZOS_GinaBruno ^^^^^^^^^^^ Please, people spend their entire gametime if they can in Cyro; reward em.

    No thanks.

The pelinal books. Are they readable housing items or recipes to craft housing items?

I'm going to take a guess that there will be 2 more events spread out in the year that will anger and upset the other 2 factions? Just a guess.. perhaps a lore person can tell me if there are corresponding potential PVP event options for upsetting DC and EP factions lore wise?

I'm really excited for this event. I did try it out on the PTS. I had no problems finding the quest or doing it. It was really nice to see a PvP based celebration. It would be really nice if more cool things were added that PvPers could get from the vendors (not really sure what that would be but something new and fun would be nice). As I said above, I'm hoping there will be at least two more of these PvP based events spread out over the year.

I just ask one thing if it is at all possible.. can the currently non-stacking siege equipment please please stack?!! Why must there be non-stacking siege equipment that takes up so much bag space? Item stacking... it's a thing now days :)@ZOS_GinaBruno
