might it be time for someone else to take a turn in that role?

Pffft, new players hard cast frags. So do a lot of "vets".
What a joke...so all the non-max CP sorcerers who weren't seeing anywhere near the damage people are exaggerating on the forums just lost the ability to kill anyone unless they get absurdly lucky with procs?
I think I'll try the other morph and just give up on single target damage...

Over dramatic much? So you got a 9% nerf to crystal frag damage - not the end of the world. Sorcs just got an 8% single target damage buff from all abilities in the most recent patch.

Seriously, who the F is piloting this sinking ship? This is not about one skill or a specific nerf. Sorcs could certainly use their damage toned down a bit, but this doesn't really accomplish that, as it will be 2-3k DPS loss at most if it were live. Frags pulls 4-5k DPS even on ridiculous OP parses, so even a 60% nerf at most is a 3k DPS loss.
This is just one more step down the path of Heavy Attacks Online.
Serious question, are morrowind pre-order refunds available? I am not going to play a game where all I do is hold down the LMB.
soon all we'll have left to attack each other is harsh language in chat...

Okay, getting some misinformation here. Its not the proc chance that's getting reduced, its the burst damage that's getting reduced. That admittedly makes a lot more sense. Net result is less PVP damage (timing is the same), and still probably removing the skill from our PVE bars. Why run a nerfed frags when you can slot IL, Pet, and Bound aegies all on your front bar to roll with 55k magic for your Heavy Attack Build?
I am not as outraged as I was, but I think the result is the same. Bye bye frags in PVE.
ppl so stupid, instead of fighting the overall nerfs they gloat at sorcs. I main magTemp btw...

(In all seriousness, I'm amazed they left such a high proc in the game for so long.)
Welcome to the nerf train that makes no sense sorcs. As a stam nb i am still amazed how they ruined our siphoning attacks to a useless heal and made it into a stam morph for the one that regenerates stam. Spend stam to gain stam... what the *****.
