That's not really the point of this thread, the point is the OP completely misrepresented the Review, and there is a lot of that going on by the constant complainers. if something isn't bad they will twist it and make it bad and That has happen'd since this game launched.

look if you don't want anything to do with the Xpac fine but don't portray the OP's lying about the review as "alternate facts" or opinion.... It's just laughable if you do.

Main points they make in the video:
- Not enough content to justify being called an expansion. Morrowind is an overpriced DLC - $40 when normally this sort of thing should cost $20.
- Ingame Naryu looks nothing like Naryu in the trailer and is much uglier. Another case of cinematics lying.
- The questing is good.
- Warden is broken op. Obviously this is to get people to buy Morrowind.
- Media get to break NDA but we don't wtf?

On the matter of elves being ugly in Elder Scrolls I actually prefer it. The Elves have always been alien looking to me in the series, and I somewhat miss that. They're now too human-looking, although I am happy they have retained their brow ridges more or less.

Probably not. Or at least, it's not something I'd bet my life on. A publisher trying to maintain that kind of editorial control is a recipe for one massive *** these days. They might have had advanced access, but it's seriously unlikely they had any authority to spike the piece. If they had that kind of authority, that would be the story, not, "oh, hey, look at this cool stuff."

All the elite players will test wardens ofc, to learn his skills and counters. But no, they will definitely not all reroll to wardens for primary character.

I feel actually really annoyed about the way haters and whiners dominate the Morrowind-discussions, posting nonsense-"info" about a beta they have never seen, and willfully misinterpreting positive reviews like in this thread.

A lot of people will have a very positive surprise when Morrowind comes out. Any many will hope that nobody looks at the *** they are posting in the forums right now.

Again, no, you really can't. If you seriously wanted to, you could probably drum up a cause of action, but the PR cost would not be worth it at all.

It's one of the few things that brings world peace and world unity . It sells more then any holiday gift for a limited time . 3/4 of the calendar goes by waiting for the McRib to surface once again .

Yeah often certain places/people will be told "hey you can start preparing stuff/ recording now but can't release until X date". I'm still surprised though that they put X date only 1 week in...

Yeah, which makes me think it was a mistake. Possible the embargo was supposed to be for next month, closer to release.

There are so many ways to criticize this "DLC" that we don't need to make stuff up.

I'm as outspoken as anyone about Morrowind's flaws but most of those flaws come from the balance and marketing departments.

When we just bash the game for no reason or pretend that its all bad, it weakens our important points.

It feels odd to defend Morrowind and cheer on the mods but this habit of misrepresenting people's videos for clicks is reprehensible behavior and needs to stop.

Anyone bashing Morrowind the expansion itself at this point is just talking out their ass, quite frankly. The changes coming with it, however, are fair game.
