- Not enough content to justify being called an expansion. Morrowind is an overpriced DLC - $40 when normally this sort of thing should cost $20.
- Ingame Naryu looks nothing like Naryu in the trailer and is much uglier. Another case of cinematics lying.
- The questing is good.
- Warden is broken op. Obviously this is to get people to buy Morrowind.
- Media get to break NDA but we don't wtf?

✭And what they seen is not a finished product, one thing you never do is compare a cinematic to the actual game unless it says this is actual game footage, most cinematics are pretty cool, the game looks and plays nothing like the cinematic of the three hero's that they showed before the game launched.
I have to agree 30 hours of content is not a lot for the money, that is why the dev's do not call it an expansion, it is more of a deluxe dlc LOL
Will wait until it launches to see if warden is really op, if I go to cyrodiil and all the elite players are on wardens then yes it is LOL. that's one thing I have leaned in years of mmo play if large groups of players gravitate to something it is either over powered or at least gives that perception,Edited by kevlarto_ESO on April 24, 2017 6:24PM0 -

from video at a glance warden seems about as op as templar.
new class and battlegrounds is that difference between prior DLC's and expansion. well.. there's also new housing.
how the hell was he allowed to post this though. I also thought NDA was still in effect with only partial lift concerning existing class changes, but nothing else O_Odirty worthless casual.

ljb2k5_ESO✭✭✭Media NDA dropped earlier than beta players. Otherwise, it pretty much confirms what I figured. He said the questing is good, but couldn't defend pricing DLC as an expansion just to *** over ESO Plus subscribers, nor defend that the Warden is super OP, while the other classes are nerfed. Some seriously deceptive and manipulative marketing practices there. Basically he said the expansion was good for what it is, and since he is a sucker who has some money, he'd buy it anyway regardless of not having a defense about the above dirty business.11

BenLocoDete✭✭✭I really appreciate real critiscisms from reviewers, in a way I always feel lied to if a reviewer tells the game is amazing and the graphics are beautiful and it is a sure GOTY(I'm looking at you Geoff).
For various reason I already love Morrowind even though I have only played TES:III a dozen hours - something about the Morag Tong character's idle animations, they feel fresh, and offering fresh content is a must.
About being overpriced, well I don't spend much money with other things(like clothing, mounts, crates etc) so,I can save up a bit.
The warden doesn't appeal to me a bit though. Have always felt they should go full legacy classic TES classes, like monk, scout, assassin, bard... if you are self-referencing why not full blow?![slit]Throat[/slit]5 -

That's quite common, actually. Devs/publishers need the publicity provided by such previews, so sites, magazines, youtubers etc. with enough audience either don't need to obey an NDA at all or ( more commonly ) only a partial one, so they can talk about some stuff but not everything.Edited by cazlonb16_ESO on April 24, 2017 6:29PM0 -

For all we know this could be some salty elite player with review bias.
I mean, you read people in PTS that have said, without breaking NDA, that it's not at all as bad compared to the complaining posts.
Heard some say Warden doesn't at all feel OP, but at times feels under powered in situations.
So, some will not like, others will, but most will adapt and enjoy some new content.
***Im not in the PTS as I'm a console player and those statements are ones I've read on this forum in the PTS threads.4 -

Um are you watching the same video I am? This ain't no angry Joe review. He heaped a lot of praise on morrowind. including these points:- Morrowind is so much better designed in terms of quest flow and exploration than some of the main story zones.
- Questing in Morrowind feels more organic like other TES games.
- Admits the warden class is overpowered but does NOT think it goes far enough to be P2W
- "Morrowind seems to be some of the best content added to ESO since launch" (DIRECT QUOTE)
- "if morrowind is a hint of the chapters to come every year from Zenimax, consider me on board.(DIRECT QUOTE)
That sounds like a glowing review of the CONTENT and STORYLINE.
Where the author of that video gives criticism is that he says the content offered really isn't enough to justify an expansion or "chapter" and that morrowind just feels like a very good DLC. Like wrothgar. - Which, surprise surprise, is something people have been saying since ZOS decided to rip this DLC out of the subscription model and try to sell it separately. If you want that entire story, just look in my signature.

I mean he's basically saying what we all knew, it's going to be a bunch of awesome story, some new repeatable content for PvE and PvP fans and a new class.

I wouldn't say the review is not good. When a reviewer sas things like best added content to date, more organic quest flow, and that he purposely held himself back from playing so he can really enjoy it at launch... come on.
OP suggests main points that aren't actually main points but comments. The entire video speaks for itself.
I can say, for myself, I am slightly more inclined to buy Morrowind now than before the review.
I also have ZERO interest in playing the Warden class.3 -
Naryu doesn't look ugly imo, just the typical dunmer features. The trailer humanized her and she looked like a grey skinned human. The trailer likely was outsourced and they took their own liberties with the look of the characters. I doubt i'll play as the warden, don't feel like re rolling and collecting all the friggin skyshards and lorebooks again. I just want to explore the coolest area in the elder scrolls universe.0 -
