Vigor cost increase suggestion:

I saw this idea on Reddit:
Make one of the morphs of vigor be caster only, and keep the cost cheap. I understand you all think it's too cheap for an AOE heal, so give people like stamina DKs an option to morph it to be a cheap caster-only HOT.

the cost isnt that bad, on my stamplar in 5 medium it was 3k. Which i think is fair because it will help against those who decide to be in 5h and 3k is a solid cost for 5m, if you want it cheaper then go 7 medium for that but lose your undaunted bonus.

Everything seems to have counter play right now minus shields.

I don't think anyone uses it as a heal for anyone other than themselves. At least i've never seen it.

So you're saying that their excuse of it being too cheap for an AOE heal is just an... excuse to nerf it?

Resolving vigor is the main group heal for a tank/off tank in pve trials. It's very common outside of pvp

Seriously upset with this change. Sustain was a huge problem but with the massive overhaul they've made, this change is a literal kick in the teeth.

They need to revert the cost increase change. It's already going to cost significantly more due to the lack of reduction CP AND the flat 5% increase in stam cost across the board. You're suggestion isn't bad, but honestly the group applications of vigor made it desirable and you NEVER saw anyone complain about vigor, not like the way people complained about breath of life.

In 5 medium on a templar it cost 3k .. thats not so bad. it is still a very strong HOT.

Rapid Regen is already cheaper, and it affects two other people. I'm not disagreeing that it's a powerful heal, but if the motivation for the nerf is that they want to make it difficult to keep vigor active throughout the whole fight then why didn't they touch damage shields since the same strategy applies?

It's a good change that ability was spammed to much and created Stam classes that had to good of healing.

If you have ever played with other people as a stam character or with one, then you have used Vigor as an aoe hot. It's actually very strong on allies. You just haven't realized it.

That skill was too cheap for what it does to caster. That AoE is not even relevant. Objectively, the nerf was deserved.
There are other things that imo deserve nerf. And hopefully one day they will get it too.

This. I use vigor to heal my group or allies all time, often times it's the difference between them surviving or dying, or them burning an unnecessary amount of resources or not.

Ask a night blade how strong vigor is without major mending....
It's not just vigor ... it's everything that goes with this nerf ... Stam was hurt last patch this patch it's been overdone on the stamplar and stam dk
