Everyone complained A LOT about poisons when they were first introduced, so since some time has passed I was wondering how many people acutally use them.

    I don't use poisons, but I should, ressources one are very OP and damage one is better on a non spell damage stacker than spell damage weapon glyph.

    Not all builds, not all the time, but in some specific situations poisons are just too good to pass up.

    Against mDK, for example, resource poisons are extremely effective given their already high ability costs and the lack of any form of purge.

    Currently not because I am to lazy to find resources and craft them. I don't even have health potions or other on me. I do have foods though but that is because I have hirelings.

    I also do not like them. It's crap for PvP. But if I was not so lazy I would craft and use them because the resource draining poisons are so ridiculous strong it's stupid not to use them.

    Yes, I use poisons in pvp
    I use them on my destro staff. One heavy attack will proc my poison which does double damage over time. It is just enough extra DPS to effectively cancel out someone running Vigor. Then, once they are at 50% ... Jesus Beam.

    Running poisons made getting to that 50% barrier much easier.

    I enjoy your tears as my poisons "hack" away your resources. Players outside of IC are a waste of poisons though.

    Have you seen the balance of resource poisons? Your at a very sever disadvantage without them.

    No, I don't use poisons in pvp
    Simply because I don't like to play with limited enhancers, even in skyrim, I never use poisons unless I have to fight a boss, who is immune to it.

    Though I probably should use poisons.

    I use defile poisons so I don't have to slot Dark Flare against a 90% shuffle meta.

    Also I now used a poison that reduces your crit dmg, increases your stamina cost, and gives me back 364 Stam.

    Other than that, nope I use the weapon enchants.

    Never used poisons, unlike others it's unlikely I'm going to use thing's I don't agree with instead of complaining about it & still using whatever I don't like.

    4.3 seconds is still a decent amount of time (1 second is terrible for a defile lol). I went through a stack of 100 in an hour or two so that tells me I had a very high uptick time despite that low duration.

    If I was min-maxing down to the poisons, I'd probably choose a longer time, sure/maybe. But I'm not going to care; I'll even use a terrible pve drop version.

    But to be honest the poisons should get a duration nerf in addition to a nerf on certain effects. Should augment builds, not completely replace them.

    I've always found the sweet spot to be the poisons with the middle duration. To each their own!

    Sometimes I put my healing poison on if I know I'm going to be in a really long fight.

    No, I don't use poisons in pvp
    On my Magplar, not really. The only way for them to go off on that character is on light and heavy attacks, and that has only a 20% chance of going off. I have sat there and light attacked someone 10 times just to try to get the damn thing to proc.

    If I was playing a stamina build, I would use them all the time, no question (or a mag build that also uses many weapon based skills). They are particularly OP for stamina builds to use.
