I believe Shido was 24 most of the time, but it wasn't the only large group, far from it. I was even part of the valour legion and we ran 14+ everyday, 24 when enough were online.
Shido was hated because they stacked so much. Barriers + healing springs 24/7. You could feel the lag moving with them, but the regular zergs were just as large if not larger back then because we had higher pop caps.2 -

✭Tonight was an interesting night, to say the least!
At 4AM
We crowned Pact emp! For the second time this week! AND, right in front of several AD guild groups + Big Boss main force of pugs.
Be very afraid AD, because Pacts true power can be found deep inside every pact player!
Our team of 10ish members strong + Emp Joey, who took over the leading once we crowned him! Started our punishment of AD, which is our reaction towards their constant tactics to only flip the map at 5 am, in force, when Cyro poses little or no resistance.
Their reason seam to be that they want to"win" the campaign that way.
DC only had a few smaller groups around at this hour, still, we did not touch a single DC keep.
Care to guess why?
For hours, we pretty much toyed with the AD groups, who easily was twice our numbers.
We ran over them, while taking every single AD keep, resource and Scrolls.
It did not matter what keep AD went for, we where faster and got some serious Deff ticks.
7AM
AD had way more players then us now, but they seamed confused about what to do? When 50 AD players charging into a keep and smash buttons, didnt not work for them, Big Boss seamed to had enough and rage quit on us!
Only to show up again 20 mins later with Saris team as well.
Both teams went to different keeps, in order to split us or that way flip keeps easy.
9AM
Saris, with SOME help from a DC group, finally overran our defenses at BRK (the last Emp keep).
My pact group was down to 6 defenders by then. Saris then headed for Arrius - Farra and Kings, with more then one full raid!
However,
AD only managed to return their own scrolls. They tried for both kings and farra scrolls, but somehow....we stopped that as well. Saris did take Kings, but failed, twice, trying to steal our scroll from the Temple.
It was a glorious night and morning for all pact involved! And we closed the huge gap in the campaign score.
