BiS PvE Gear for Each Class (Magicka and Stamina)?

Hello all,

My 240 slot bank and my 10 characters (6 of them with 200 inventory slots) is drowning in gear. I need to break it down on alt characters to raise their crafting.

Problem is, I don't know what's worthy of keeping. I also cannot find a unified thread where this is discussed for the current meta.

So, in your opinion, what are some of the Best-in-Slot sets for the following builds?

Magika Sorcerer (DPS mainly, but what other roles you care to mention)

Stamina Sorcerer (DPS mainly, but what other roles you care to mention)

Magicka Nightblade (DPS mainly, but what other roles you care to mention)

Stamina Nightblade (DPS mainly, but what other roles you care to mention)

Magicka Dragonknight (DPS mainly, but what other roles you care to mention)

Stamina Dragonknight (Tank and DPS; Or whatever other roles you care to mention)

Magicka Templar (Healer and DPS; Or whatever other roles you care to mention)

Stamina Templar (Tank and DPS; Or whatever other roles you care to mention)

Thank you for indulging my curiosity and hopefully helping to clear the inventory of my characters and those of others.

Just stockpile Sharpened weapons and purple jewelry, and if you ever want to make a build, farm the sets on normal mode dungeons.

Also, keep any trial sets that caught your eye, since it is harder to find a group for farming trials.

EDIT: oh, yeah: also stockpile Undaunted sets, replacing bad traits once you find better ones.

Stamina all classes: vicious ophidian, twice fanged snake

Magicka classes all: burning spellweave, moondancer

Magicka sorc with pets: necropotence, moondancer

5 Ebon OR 5 Alkosh
2 Blood Spawn

Stamina DK DPS:

5 Vicious Ophidian OR 5 Night Mother's Gaze (if no one else in the group is wearing it)
1Maelstrom 1h axe
1Maelstrom 1h dagger
2Kragh's

Magicka DK Tank (pvp or pledge dungeons):

5Seducer OR 5Kagrenac's Hope OR 5Rattlecage OR 5Elfbane OR 5. . . honestly it doesnt even matter, any set in the game will work for a pledge tank, hell go naked, naw screw it, just 3 dps it
5 Ebon
2 Bloodspawn

Magicka DK DPS:
5 Burning Spellweave
5 Moondancer OR Infall
2 Grothdar

Monster Helm:
Valkyn Skoria. It now out-preforms Grothdarr due to Skoria's cooldown being 5 seconds. The amount of DOTS you apply makes it proc more than Grothdarr, and deals more daamge. For me 12K direct and 5k AOE damage to enemies, which also affects main target, so about 17k Damage vs 13k from grothdarr.

mag DK tank (Breton)

5 Vampire cloak ( ice staff, shield, chest, legs, boots, gloves)
5 Magicka furnace ( 3 jewelry, 1 light sash. 1 infused 1hander with crusher enchant/poisons)
2 Chudan (heavy and med)

all prismatic enchants, reinforced shield, infused or reinforced large pieces, sturdy small pieces.

I recognize the garbage sets, but there seems to be a few sets that synergize well with others, and having little time as a working adult, I don't have time to test every possible BiS for each meta after updates.

Can someone give a little more insight on BiS Stamblade DPS gear? Is Viper not so great since it doesn't crit anymore? What about Red Mountain? I don't know much about it.

I am assuming you are talking non trial wise, cause (both are terrible for trial DPS). If that is the case, red mountain is even worse than viper on a stamina nightblade. Your main spammable is surprise attack on dungeons, dragonstar and maelstrom, which means less red mountain procs compared to a rapid strikes setup. Either way, you should not use any of the two, both are bad.

Technically incorrect. MagDK gets good uptime on BSW even if it's only on the front bar since you only have to go on back bar every 15 seconds or so with the current rotation. So 5 BSW 5 Moon is bis especially considering vma staff enchantment is bugged right now

I always wondered why Dk didn't run 5 Moon dancer similar to magplars. Hopefully they VMA staff enchant soon.I need yo level my magdk.

My magNB gets better numbers from stacking julianos and scathing mage. I have a 72% crit chance w/ 80% crit damage modifier (unbuffed). I just don't like the terrible downtime BSW has on magNB - for me, it's just not worth it. Also, I can get away with running no monster helm because there isn't a magNB-friendly monster set worth running.
