Why are you all TROLLING OP?

They are simply asking for a way to hide their loot. Everyone feels entitled to everything. And others being able to spy on your loot can get annoying. Yes I just say no if it's something I do the want/need. But if not I will tell them no. It will be accepted but still annoying that I was put in that situation.

And all OP is asking is if there is something that hides your loot from others. All of you are just trying to show how amazing you are with long "clever" ways of telling op to say no. Chill out jeeeez.

    @NeKryXe

It's not that big of a deal. Most just ask and take no for an answer. Not all that intrusive.

Is someone doesn't take no for an answer just place them on ignore. Problem solved for those pesky players.

Yeah they feel entitled for the person that looted it to give it up for some odd reason, which they don't need to give it up since its there's no matter what.

Just be thankful atleast the mod doesn't broadcast it like in WoW, ha.

Do you really want to link every item in chat if you don't have to?
This makes it easier...as long as you're not just being selfish.

I guess the question really comes down to this:
What's more important the 1 purple temper that you might get, the 51 gold from vendoring that item, or helping someone get the gear they need?

If you answered either of the first two, then you're just selfish.

Im all for sharing drops and stuff. I do it pretty much every time.

But for people to act like they are entitled to know what I got, or that the time it takes to link items in chat is a good excuse to display my info, is just silly to me.

If someone ever asks me for an item because they saw it drop to me, I'll refuse to give it to them just because. It feels pushy and intrusive.

I actually like it. Ive been playing for a long time and have much of the gear i need. I typically pay no attention to what i get until im out of the dungeon/trial/group and standing in a town somewhere. So i dont mind when someone says hey that sword of kung-fu death you got, can I haz it? Because id never even know i got it until much later.

No, the dungeon was over. We continued on to finish the other pledges though. Later on a helm dropped in a good trait that he could make use of. This time when he asked, I happily gave it to him. So ends the tale of adults playing a video game and communicating like normal, well adjusted adults in a virtual world.

    Ha. Snooping their bags?

You guys are aware that this is fairly normal for MMO's? To share loot in dungeons.

This is a good plan. Give one person the power to troll the whole group. Well done.

On a related note maybe you should start ignoring the people that bother you. Since you seem to be running with a bunch of people who beg you for your loot and then whine in teamspeak about it.

I guess if you want to keep grouping with a bunch of dingdongs that is cool, but ignoring them and looking for a better group seems like it would work out better for you.

As the group gets ready to start, people quickly announce the sets and pieces they are looking for. If I find one of those I link it. It's like this in almost every run I do with the group finder and seems pretty standard.

@SolidusPrime That's not how it works from what I have seen. I allways state what I need at start then I'll wait until the end and several times I see loot I need drop but no1 announce it. So at the end I just play dumb and ask if any1 got the items that I need (that I know dropped because of addon.). That makes them actually look at there loot and then if they don't need it i'll get it. But because of people like you I play dumb so no1 get offended win win for every1. :)

Awesome. That whole if someone asks for the loot I have, I vendor it on principle because they snooped is BS.
If you dont need it, and vendor or decon it because someone asked for it when they saw it dropped for you..dont be pissy when they show up undergeared in a vet dungeon later on.
