ppl sometimes forget difference between trash peoples zerg and ball groups
i will translate the difference>
zergs, bunch of hooligans without proper organized activity.
ball group> aoe choo choo raid with 2-5 main healers, purge user, rapid maneuver user, if those folks die into single eots, they have then done something very wrong. your snare just annoys and tickles them.
PS. didnt mention it, but ball raid is extremely organized group of ppl who dont give *** if they ruin peoples immersion or pvp fun. they are there for themself only.
PSS. i can never imagine myself pressing one button only during my fun intented pvp evening to purge or spam rapids. but thats the way for some people i guess.

It pains me to agree with Kena but this is correct, I see so many ideas of ways to artificially reduce the power of groups but that doesn't make any sense, it just makes fighting out numbered insignificant. If you remove the AoE cap everyone is on even footing, if you're good enough you will win outnumbered, if you're not you can come back with more or get better. However if the AoE cap is removed I think some of the more powerful AoEs need to be nerfed.
I think he just changed his forum name. No ban shenanigans from him at least.
That's Kena ppk? Man, so many ban hammers went out lol
Zerging was coined in DAOC to describe basically a larger then 1 group PvP... If you ran around with say, 2 Groups you were considered Zerging Basically we looked at what would be describe a mass group of people and decided that Zerg fit the best description since we all loved Starcraft and Starship Trooper *grin*....
Also played into what you were doing at the time....For example, 8 stealthers even though was considered 1 group was considered Stealth Zerging cause you were basically looking for non groups to jack.
This game is no different, If you're running 24 people....Be it organized or a pug..You're zerging.

@Xsorus Zerging actually comes from Starcraft, its a term for the play style of the Zerg faction in that game.
Turn on player collision and POW! Zergs and ballgroups dispersed.

To be fair, he said that by implication. However in an mmo context he's dead right - the term first crossed over from RTS to mmos with DAOC back in about early 2003 when "8 man" became the standard group size for measuring one's e-peen.

Your concescending tone while spreading nonsense on these forums is bothering me, too. Here we are, I guess.
