If Champion Points were removed from all campaigns would you quit PVP?

I actually enjoy NO CP pvp more then I do CP pvp. CP campaigns are just stupid currently with all those permablockers& shieldspammers around. Sure, on NO CP you can do that too but you will not do anything else beside that otherwise RIP resources.

Well nonCP greatly favor all dmg oneshot builds over a sustain combat approach (bc sustain profits more from cp than dmg does)

Since most of your builds revolved around high dmg instantkills without the enemy fighting back (atleast the ones i heared about) you naturally prefer a campaign where that is the most promising playstyle approach.

In my opinion, burstbuilds work A LOT better on CP campaigns then on NO CP campaigns.
Main reason being cost poisons just rek you pretty damn hard on NO CP.

@Wrobel - balance your game if you want to remove CP's ffs

The removal of CP is the first, biggest step towards balancing the game.

The interesting thing is I doubt Wrobel is behind this idea to remove CP. I think Brian Wheeler, like most of us, knows CP unbalances the game which hurts PvP, but he just couldn't go changing the combat system because it's not his jurisdiction, so instead he came up with a legitimate reason to remove CP for the benefit of PvP, but under a guise that he can influence. If I'm even remotely correct, I think Brian Wheeler would make a better combat dev than Wrobel.

I play in both cp/ non cp campaigns and both are equally fun, while I do find the no cp has less lag and TF can be a standstill/discon from time to time I still have fun. With no cp you will have to choose if you want more damage over sustain or sustain in a support type role.

I can't believe some of you buy into this story that ZOS is selling, that CP points are a cause for the lag....lmao. How long have you played this game?

The lag started before CP was introduced in 1.6. The real reason I think they want to remove CP from Cyrodiil completely is because of Morrowwind and the new player's that will be coming with its release. ZOS knows that those new players will be at a massive disadvantage to current players with CP enabled and probably quit or start their own qq on these forum's. What better way to justify a change like this than to say it's being done to alleviate lag?

How long do you think this CP removal if implemented will be quarantined to PvP? There's lag in PvE as well right now.

What ZOS should be doing is upgrading their server's to handle the calculations they created instead of trying to dumb down things. They've done this enough with changing debuffs to things like minor magicka steal. Those simplify server calculations already. How much is enough? IDK but I don't like this trend. It tells me that ZOS does not want to invest in the future of this game.

Ofc there's really nothing going we can do about it. Just some food for thought.

I wouldnt quit but CP System is the main character progression / customization after you reach level cap. Removing it is like disregarding a substantial area for regular players IMO.

I believe it's already proven that soft/hardcaps must come back, I think it's the only way we stop seeing unkillable tanks, 1-2hit DDs (imagine those in battlegrounds lol). Even though I know it won't be an easy task, I believe they're actually working on it.

On a side note I'm actually quite interested to see the outcome of this no CP testing.

If CP removal can drastically improve Cyrodiil performance then your opinions don't really matter.

If Champion points are to go then there was no point in removing the Veteran levels.
I would prefer all the Boss sets removed and allowing only crafted sets in PVP than the removal of champion points.

If the champion points are to go then definitely remove all boss sets from PVP.

I'd PvP a hell of a lot more.

Since I took a year break, I'm way behind. CP needs to go.

But there's already a campaign for people like you. What is there to gain by removing player choice?

OK so the rest of us are meant to be punished for playing whilst you could not be bothered supporting ESO. Love you 'logic'.
