The add-on AlphaGear will let you set up gear and skill sets that can be swapped at the push of a button. But, if the process is interrupted you will be left with only a partial swap. So no set bonuses and a jacked up skill bar.

It's been a while since I played PC. Back then I think I had to use two addons, one for gear, one for skills. I do remember it was inconsistent but that was probably over a year ago. I've quit for 2 years because sorcs were just useless. They used to be garbage at PvP, lowest DPS in trials and their best gear wasn't trials nor crafted, but some cobbled together greens.

✭✭Maybe if they dump 100 points in the cp passive that boosts shields but even then it's still only 6 seconds. It's much harder to kill templars and DK tanks then sorcs.1 -
Frawr✭✭✭✭✭Shields are a difficult thing to balance because it's basically a spammable 'heal' that also prevents critical hits.
this means that you have to be able to do massive burst on a good sorc to bring them down. This encourages the burst meta.
I also have a separate issue with pet sorcs. I find the targetting system in this game such that it is very difficult to actually hit a pet sorc who stands behind their pets. These pets are really very strong relative to the sorceror behind them and so the result is that 1 v 1 against a pet sorc is really like 1v2 or 1v3.
I would say that these pets are a little strong. They shouldn't be tanky AND dps'y together. Either higher dps but die easily or tanky and defensive but less of a threat and more of an annoyance.

✭✭✭✭Honestly, I haven't read all of this rediciulous QQ thread but it's amazing how fast these "nerf op magicka" posts appeared when stamina just got the slightest nerf after more than a half year of stam on top. Or could it be that all these proctards finally need to learn their characters and do more than a light attack/ weapon skill to proc their three rediciulous sets that do all the work for them. Oh, I forgot, that hasn't changed, they just don't crit anymore. This get's out of hand and I'm already tired of this. Maybe I should avoid the forum until the next balance patch that shifts the favour again. But then the victims of the next nerf will do the same.5 -

SaRuZ✭✭✭✭✭Hard to kill? Yes. Impossible? No. I have found 1v1ing shield stacking nubs always ends in a victory, they waste their resources just keeping that shield up because one-two hits when it's down and they're dead.
