Sorc Shields OP Now?

like wtf really sorc shields are not even penetrable its pathetic how you guys kill stam dk's and made everyone go to a magic dk now sorcs shield you can't even penetrate through if anyone notice it takes forever to kill a sorc now im on my last eso plus this is ridiculous

You must be new to ESO. Shields have always worked like this. Pressure their stamina pool instead. Time burst combos for when they are cc'd. You'll eventually break through. Idk what you are talking about with dk though. Stam dk is beast

So now our nerfed 6 second shields actually work again and keep us alive for longer? How long should it take to kill us? The same as a vigor spaming NB or DK? The same as Blazing Shield vamp Temp? Oh thats right you were used to two second kills from vipers and validreth, sorry.

Increases damage against targets withna damage shield.

You will notice diffrence

Just roll dodge all our attacks then snare us until we can't cc break...

And we good sorcs always took and still do take forever to kill. Of course any good player of any class can basically do the same thing.

And how the hell are Magicka Players going to avoid attacks? We roll dodge twice and we are out of Stamina, Block twice and out of stamina again... The game is already too stamina oriented, since you stamina players doesnt need magicka at all, just for utility skills like Shadow Cloak of NB...

Dude stam characters are so easier in pvp what you mean? U can vigor while u dps with vigor healing u for 20k over 5 seconds.

Il take heal over time over shields all day shields

All u gotta do is pop vigor in heavy armor and ur good to go for 10 seconds of dps

When im on magicka character I feel like im fighting with anxiety

Agreed. I'm not sure the subtleties of shield versus heal is understood by some people.

he does have a point @BrassRazoo I agree with @Chelo the game now they pushing it towards magic nobody is stam nomore at all amazing how it's not balanced but it shifted everything to magicka just crazy.

All I'm saying is before the update sorcs was dropping like flies some people knew how to shield stack now since the update came like @Ihatenightblades said u got to have at least 30 points into shatter cause the shields are not penetrable otherwise

I have been playing since the update. In fact I just logged off. I play every class in every flavor. So I do know that sorcs shields aren't OP.
My stam sorc is still better in pvp than my mag sorc but, I find the play style to be boring.
I've mostly been playing my magdk though since the last update. When I want to zerg surf I play my sorc though.

I'm not saying it's hard to heal on Stam characters, I'm saying that the style of healing would be better for the game. You get one burst heal that's basically on a 15sec cooldown, a weak HoT, and a strong HoT on demand. You can also be affected by Major/Minor defile, which is a good thing, and you have to invest at least 10-15 pts into Blessed. Shields are a better way to heal yourself, but force you to be on the defensive for longer.
