I voted yes, but then noticed you mentioned stamina for vamp? Why stamina? WW is for stamina, vamp should have 2-3 more for magicka.

Are you sure? Can you give me a reference? I don't remember anything in ES lore that said vampires where spell casters only. There are a ton of npcs who were physical characters.

Give me a stamina Hircine's rage and you could keep your magicka vamps.

Just remember if you (non specific plural you) want to make the argument that vampires are supposed to be magicka based, you may need to explain why one morph of mistform does poison damage and they have a 10% stamina regen increase passive.

    no reason

This makes any feedback you have for the vampire skill line pointless. You want stamina skills just because. You get the perks and limitations that come with the territory.

I want magicka sword and board skills, but...

So, basically... you want stamina skills just so you can have an extra advantage?

    Nope!

There really is no need for vampy stamina skills. I mean, why would there be? Vampires generally are powered by supernatural means (aka, magica), and not by physical means (aka, stamina).

Now, a few more magica skills, especially if they go for some classic vampire clichees (like, say, a dominate spell that will make all bloodfiends neutral towards a vampire, or allow you to "charm" townfolk NPCs to allow voluntary feedings; an "illusion disguise" that allows you to pass as mortal if fully fed, just like count ravenwatch; or a bat transformation as additional escape skill choice; or a "summon wolves" ability so you can listen to the "children of the night" and what music they make...) that could be considered.
Even a magica skill that stamina characters could benefit from (like, say, using your vampire powers to boost your physical abilities, maybe spending blood and magica to give yourself a weapon damage buff by "supercharging" your muscles or something like that) is worth considering...

Though of course, I for one also would want more of the clichee hindrances for vampires... like maybe a reduced swimming speed to make then shy away from "running water", or inability to use food buffs (especially those made with garlic) and more vampire-specific drink recipes instead...

And most of all, the city guard actually reacting to any vampire who lets the Masquerade slip and show the world what he or she is? With detection chances depending on your vampyness levels, say, 20% at stage 1, 40% at 2, 80% at 3 and 100% at stage four... and when discovered, the guard will kill you on sight, vendors will cry for the guard instead of dealing with you, even quest givers might deny you... make vampires feel like monsters that must keep up a disguise when dealing with mortals (I mean, just take the vampire questlines, and the general NPC reactions... rivenspire, eastmarch, grahtwood... most people will either be scared of vamps, or want to kill them on sight...)

Well if its magika based but gives me an advantage as a stam build like what you said with weapon damage buffs id take it as with all skill lines besides vampire thier is a skill that buffs something

    Maybe
If they make some morphs to vampire skill (so those will scale with stamina) they should also make the same for werewolf (so some morphs will use magicka).

Ww is pure stam except the heal for a magicka dump. Its a full build. Vamp is supporting skills and offers passives for both. Not close to a good comparison

Vampires get a +10% stamina regeneration increase but no stamina abilities, that's why they should at least make Baleful Mist and Accelerating Drain Stamina morphs, hell Accelerating drain involves running faster which defiantly sounds like something stamina related, their sneaking speed is also boosted and guess what sneaking uses.....STAMINA.

•Path of Darkness and morphs, Magicka: Major Expedition
•Cripple and morphs, Magicka: Major Expedition
•Concealed Weapon, Magicka: +22% stealth speed
